The most unexpected thing is that there will be water flowing through the door of every storefront in the Ancient Tea Horse City, that kind of stream. Ordinary night markets don’t have smelly ditches, it’s pretty good. People have streams, the kind with fish and aquatic plants, which really shocked me, a native of Shandong. I climbed the viewing platform of Meizihu Park, which was also recommended by the boss. When I went down the mountain, I saw an old lady buying fruit. The red dragon fruit cost ten yuan per kilogram, and it was more than half a catty. The price was also shocking. me. Although the trip to Pu'er was only two days, the city left me with very good memories. The folk customs are simple and the environment is clean. During our stay, some of us were not feeling well. Chen Chunluo, the hotel manager on duty that night, escorted us to the hospital immediately, and she paid for the taxi and registration fees by herself. We would not charge her afterwards, saying that she should do it. The front desk staff also helped to comfort, and the hotel's vice president Liu kept sending messages to inquire about the situation. Lovely hotel, clean and modern. Location was ok, next to a half open mall, no convenient stores nearby which was a little annoying. All scenic areas are a short taxi journey away, 3-5 km, not more than 15RMB. Breakfast was average, limited fruit selection, coffee was horrid, mostly Chinese food. Staff were very helpful. Tea, coffee, kettle, water and toiletries in the room. Overall definitely worth the stay for a couple of nights as the price is affordable and the tourist attractions are nearby.

Nice Hotel on the 5th (top) floor. Very nice and helpful reception. The hotel even offered a shuttle service to the train station on our departure day. The hotel is jus a short stroll away from a large food and bar area with everything to enjoy the evening. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a room with terrace to the water side which was quite nice. But be aware that your opposing neighbors will look straight into your full room. So if taking a bath, showering or whatever, close the curtains or allow sneak peeks... The overall breakfast quality was good. Fresh fruit, toast and coffee plus a higher quality standard chinese assortment. Sadly however, not even close to the picture promise. All in all, I would come back again if I planned another stay in Pu'er :)
