We had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel. Juan Carlos and his son Nico provided incredibly friendly and personable service, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Each morning, we enjoyed delicious home-cooked breakfasts and fresh juices. They went above and beyond to help us book tours, recommended excellent local restaurants, and even assisted with getting our laundry done—making our trip completely stress-free. We highly recommend Maidith to anyone traveling to the Galápagos!

Staying at Hotel Maidith Galápagos Inn felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better — everything is within walking distance, which made exploring stress-free and enjoyable. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. I was especially grateful for how kindly they accommodated my gluten-free needs. Juan Carlos and Elvira truly made our trip unforgettable. Even though they don’t organize tours themselves, their thoughtful recommendations completely elevated our experience — from the best tour options to wonderful local restaurants. Every tip was spot on. They were always ready to help with taxis or any questions, and always with genuine warmth. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this special place.

This is a family run business. The property is conveniently located two blocks from Charles Darwin Ave, the main road with all services. The property boasts a private pool, rooms with individual air conditioners, mini fridges, purified water, breakfast, and excellent service. Nicholas, was running the property. His knowledge of the area is impeccable and he arranged two tours for us. We certainly will use his expertise on our next trip and need to decide when we will plan our next adventure. The hotel is painted brightly in white with turquoise blue accents. Each room is unique and one is 3 stories which happens to be the largest hotel room on the island. Nicholas spoke perfect English. The breakfast was hearty for the islands. Fruit and coffee or tea to start. Carbs and eggs paired with a yogurt parfait. If you’re not able to make it to breakfast because of a tour, the night before the hotel will put a boxed lunch in your fridge. If you are needing a place to launch your adventures in the Galapagos, I would highly recommend this property because the location is convenient and the staff is friendly. We had such personal service, that I left feeling like friends with the people and property.

I stayed at Maidith with a group of 18 student travelers. Best hotel we stayed at during our trip. It was better than advertised. The rooms have such personality, and the staff is attentive and kind. Nico was an incredible host--intuitive, friendly, and aware. He went above and beyond to make our experience special. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. 13/10 recommend!

Our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn was truly wonderful. As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly by the owner, he sat us down and helped us plan out our stay and to give us the gist of the area. When we had early tours they would offer us boxed lunches as we would not be able to join in on the complementary breakfast (which was also really good). Rooms were spacious and very clean. Had no issues with noise as we were located about 2 blocks from the main street. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends and can't wait to stay here again.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel, and the owners were so nice and helpful. They left a free bottle of red wine in the refrigerator in our room. Hotel is very close to the main stretch of town. A+++++++

The inn is conveniently located just a short walk from downtown Puerto Ayora, making it easy to explore restaurants, shops, and the waterfront without needing transportation. Each morning, breakfast was delicious and very filling—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start a day of exploring the Galápagos. The staff throughout the hotel were attentive and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend Maidith Galápagos Inn to anyone visiting the city. It’s clean, welcoming, well-located, and truly a great place to stay.
