Posada del Mar

Carlos was amazing and he got me right to my room. The rooms are so cute and I even had a balcony. There was a restaurant right next-door that had some pretty good food and Carlos suggested it. They give you a bottle of water in the room and there is a place in the lobby for refilling. There was a working TV however I could not get close captioning on for English. But that is on me. I am sure. I would stay here again. The only reason for a four is the Wi-Fi was not very strong.

Extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. Room was spacious, clean, with a view to the marina. Great location, reasonably priced.

Able to easily walk to everything. Quiet area. Nothing fancy but clean comfortable rooms. Nice to have a balcony. Breakfast was good and the people working the desk were helpful. Nice to have a refill station for water.

Thanks to Carlos, our almost disaster of a vacation was kindly salvaged. We missed our connecting flight bec we did not leave enough time to get out transit cards at Guayaquil airport. The online service which the in person agents insisted we use didn’t work. Carlos was so understanding … adjusted our reservation and personally welcomed us when we finally got there. The “junior suite” is actually a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony and view of the bay. It’s a short walk from Darwin Ave where the action is with a convenient “deli” next door for delicious sandwiches and drinks. We had to leave super early and Carlos was there with coffee waiting for us and reminding us to refill our bottles with their filtered water. A truly gracious host and a lovely establishment.
