Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Matratzen sehr bequem. Leider war das Bad älter, die Duschbrause war dreckig und es roch nach Kanalisation.

It's an old building and a rolling upgrade is being slowly rolled out. Overall, it's a bit worn but comfortable. Quite a decent breakfast is included.

No regrets selecting this fantastic hotel for a weekend break to the historic town of Puerto De la Cruz. The Monopol is in a great location and close to all the bars, restaurants and beaches. Very clean, great value with pool and gym facilities to offer. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Das alteingesässene Hotel "Monopol" befindet sich schon übert 100 Jahre an der sehr belebten Hauptpromenade (Fußgängerzone). Sehenswert ist die Hotelhalle mit viel Holz des alten Hotels,der sich über die gesamten Stockwerke bezieht.

great hotel booked here after leaving a hotel that was not nice staff great food the best we had rooms great with celling fan loved it pool amazing plenty sunbeds location all you need around would defo go back tv invroom only uk news rest is german or spanish that was the only problem for me

Lovely hotel bit dated but that added to the charm ideal location for everything breakfast included a very varied selection staff very helpful wasn't bothered by the church bells though we were near the front of the hotel will return soon

Liked situation.- very clean….But the staff were uncaring and no help at all- apart from the older receptionist on the desk on 29.08. I stayed in this hotel about 40 years ago and the service then was excellent.
