Sol Costa Atlantis

The hotel is located in a good spot in Puerto de la Cruz. Although we didn't realise how quiet Puerto de la Cruz was until we got there. The weather was good 4 out of the 7 days we stayed there. The hotel is clean. The staff at reception were pleasant, however the staff in the restaurant weren't as nice (apart from one young guy who I forget his name). The food was below average and as others have said, it wasn't that warm. A lot of the plates were dirty and/or wet. They should be clean and also heated to keep the food warm. The pool was nice (although cold) and plenty of sunbeds. For 6/7 days there were only 2 lifts in action. Given this is meant to be a 4 star hotel, I would expect there to be a fridge in each room to keep drinks cold. Overall, it was an ok stay but I wouldn't rush back.

The hotel has seen it's glory days. The service at the reception was super-slow 😴. Out of (only) 3 lifts just two was working. The furniture and the room all in all was very dated. We had half-board, and the dinner was tasteless (but much variations to choose from) but breakfast was good. The hotel is located well and our room with two balconies directly to the ocean had splendid views. Garage is a plus too.

Very disappointed because there's a hot weather and the room doesn't have a fridge....and how it's possible to have breakfast and dinner but you still have to pay for your drinks? If you want to park your car in a safe place there is an extra charge to do it in the hotels car park. Adding everything extra charged you'll have a very expensive holiday

I stayed here for 4 nights. I had a nice holiday apart from becoming ill from the dinner at the hotel. When entering my room it was spacious for myself. The only thing that surprised me was there was no fridge! It would have been nice to keep my drinks cool. Other than that the room was great. Housekeeping were also excellent. The food at breakfast was alright plenty of choice for everyone. Some foods were overcooked and dry. I booked half board and the foods available at dinner was ok but just like breakfast some foods again slightly overcooked. However during the night I became ill and had sickness and diarrhoea, this was definitely from eating the dinner as the rest of the day I felt absolutely fine. When I was better the next day I had breakfast from the hotel and ate out elsewhere in the evening and was fine. On the final day I came to my hotel room after spending last few hours in the area and noticed my keycard wasn’t working. Unaware of this it was deactivated due to checkout time being at 12pm. I was unaware of this until asking reception to activate my card again. One of the ladies at reception was quite rude she said jet2 (who I used) should have told me, I said it was more yourselves some form of communication about this would have been nice. The hotel is beautiful especially looking onto the pool area and seeing the palm trees. It is in a perfect distance to the beach literally across the road. If I was to stay in the area again I’d come back here but just only for bed and breakfast.
