Super hotel mega Pools (warm)

It was an ok stay. There were things that we expected that we didn’t get. Felt nickel and dimed. You had to pay for the safe in your room. Deposit for pool towel and they charged to get a fresh one each day. One large bottle of water for the entire week would have expected one each day. Wifi was terrible. They allow smoking on balconies in a resort with no central air. We couldn’t have our patio door open due to your neighbour smoking

Hotel was excellent and good quality choice of food . Room beautiful with sea views . Shower hot and spacious. Room cleaned every day. It’s was lovely waking up to the sound of the sea. Plenty Sun beds both downstairs by the pool and upstairs by the Jacuzzis and pool bar. Drinks, wine, cocktails, spirits, and lager is reasonably priced. You pay for drinks on a card or your room number as the hotel does not take cash. Porto de la Cruz is very beautiful and Spanish in its culture. The wonderful Painted houses in different colours and artist drawing . You have to walk down into Porto de la Cruz by the Agatha Christie stairs quite steep . But can get a taxi back to the hotel . As this is in the north of Tenerife the weather Is changeable and cloudy in the morning. Sunshine appears later in the day around 11:30. But this was early May and no doubt if you visit in June July, August and September it is full sunshine on a daily basis. There are quite a lot of bars and restaurants just outside the hotel. Also a short walk to the supermarket . The service at the hotel with regard to the staff was excellent . Negatives It is a long drive from South Tenerife Airport to the hotel in the north around 1hour . Also if you have mobility issues regard to walking due to the Steep inclines down to Porto de la Cruz. Weather in north of Tenerife can be changeable and cloudy. This was a very relaxing Holiday with beautiful Seaview in an excellent hotel. With excellent quality food . No loud music around the pool.

First time at this Hotel, it certainly didn’t disappoint.The room has stunning sea views the food is amazing so much choice nothing was to much trouble I would highly recommend this hotel and I do hope to come back the rooftop is amazing amenities close by a lovely local bar called fat ladies we would recommend spent 10 days at the hotel and it caters for most people sorry forgot to say it’s adults only

We stayed in at the Atlantic Mirage hotel in Tenerife half board for 7 nights coming home on Saturday 18th May 4th floor room 420. This is an outstanding hotel with friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes around 1 hour. Jet2 provided a very comfortable small private car to transfer us to the hotel. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and offered a cool fruit juice check-in was easy with English speaking staff. We set up a tab for drinks and other extras like the safe in our room, each time you buy a drink you just sign the bar bill saved paying individually. Keep your room card on you as you will need to show it at dinner time and when ordering drinks etc. The room is just as it looks in the brochure really nice with a big fridge microwave oven and kettle they supply cups and spoons but no tea or coffee so remember to bring your own. The bed is huge and comfy the whole room is very clean the balcony views are stunning, I don't know how the maid's do it but the bed sheets and pillows look like they are ironed every day all the creases from the night before are gone its like coming back to a new room. The TV has many channels in different languages I found BBC news and several others in English. The main restaurant is bright and airy with wonderful views of the sea and coastline if the weather is ok you can sit outside for breakfast, space is limited so you may have to wait for a table if you don't want to eat indoors. The choice of food provided is wide and of excellent quality be prepared to gain a couple of pounds. We walked most days either down to the town or my favourite was to walk through the banana plantation to the hidden sandy beach cove. The pool and pool bar are quiet and relaxed as is the roof top bar and seating a great place to sit relax and watch the sun go down. I'm leaving tomorrow taking away lots of lovely memories thanks to the staff at this hotel and Jet2.
