El Galleon Beach Resort

This hotel probably would have earned a 5 star reviewed even if it wasn’t perfect because the location was convenient, the service was excellent, and the food was great.. BUT they had a storage room next to my room. There was constant noise next to my room ESPECIALLY in the morning. Quite unbelievable and I cannot accept this! I was rudely awakened every morning by noise. You need to move the storage room or leave the room next to unoccupied and don’t out guests there. I think a 2 star reviewed is gracious and I highly considered giving a 1 star reviewed!

Great staff, great food, great diving, and a great place to stay. Our third trip of the year and none of them disappointed. Dive sites are all within minutes of the resort, and as the only resort with it's own jetty, it's easy to go to and from the sites.

El Galleon has so many good points, this is why we keep coming back ! Asia Diver is a great professional well run Dive centre with every single member of staff a joy to be around . Then we come to the accommodation, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay , serviced daily by smiling dedicated housekeepers. Then the food ! Excellent , great quality, And again lovely waiting on and kitchen staff. And The Point bar, many laughs, cold beers and a focus point to meet fellow guests… who like us have been before and keep coming back. You cannot go wrong with “EG”, your home away from home !

A great week of diving with my eldest son in Puerto Galera. El Galleon diving resort is top: good location, very friendly people, good food and reasonable prices. The rooms are quite comfortable, cosy and pleasanr. The dives are all quite rewarding with the density and the diversity of the fauna and flora. All taken care by Asia divers under the leadership of the nicest and skillful dive masters: Pete Eaton and Rose. Again here everyone is so helpful and friendly Easy access from Singapore: 3,5 hours flight to Manilla, 2 hours drive and 45mn boat ride and you are in heaven

An absolute masterclass in hospitality, service, friendliness and professional service, both from El galleon and from Asia Divers. Exemplary cleanliness throughout the resort, fantastic diving, great atmosphere in The Point bar…we love the place !

This place has all the basics covered. I spent 6 nights here with a buddy and dove with Asia divers, their in house shop. From greeting and reception, to daily breakfasts at the hotel, to 3-4 daily dives, I couldn't have asked for more. The whole team was friendly, kind, and took good care of us. The rooms were very basic, but spacious enough and clean. The food in the restaurant was good. The star of the show was diving which is great, and their dive staff is amazing. Great views and location at the hotel. My only warning, is if you stay in a sea view room you need to be physically fit as you will climb lots of stairs to your room. I would stay here again and would recommend this to others looking for a total dive package while in Puerto Galera.
