Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal.

We were welcomed by friendly owners. Hostal provides affordable, safe, clean accommodations. Family friendly without drinking, loud music, so easy to sleep. Rooms do not have AC or hot water. Our room could use fresh coat of paint but was clean and had private bathroom. We recommend having a car as it is a little walk to beach. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Une petite semaine au calme. L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais il y a des tuk-tuks à tous les coins de rues et cela permet d'être au calme.
Les employés sont à l'écoute, vous mettent à l'aise et sont là pour vous aider (leur chien est adorable). Côté propreté rien à redire la chambre et les sanitaires/douches sont très propres. Pour le confort, pareil le lit est confortable, il y avait un ventilateur au cas où dans la chambre. Bonus non négligeable, l'internet est plus que correct.

Blauorange von einem Hügel über Puerto Lopez strahlend, stellt das Alcazaba eine weithin sichtbare Landmarke an den Ufern des Pazifik dar. Und in seinem Inneren wird das Haus diesem bemerkenswerten Eindruck auch gerecht. Von freundlichen Inhabern stets in tadelloser Sauberkeit gehalten, liefert es den Reisenden eine sehr gute Basis für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt an diesem interessanten Abschnitt der ecuadorianischen Küste. Das Highlight im Wortsinn bildet die Dachterrasse mit grandiosen Ausblicken auf die Stadt und den Ozean. Ausgesprochen hilfreich ist daneben die geräumige und gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, die den Gästen die Zubereitung auch umfangreicher Mahlzeiten ermöglicht, ebenso das solide Frühstück, serviert im stilechten Speisesaal gegenüber der Rezeption. Als zudem noch sehr authentische Unterkunft ist das Alcazaba ohne jede Einschränkung zu empfehlen.

Schönes Hostel/Hotel mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. Das Zimmer und Bad sind ausreichend groß und alles war sehr sauber. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Ich würde mich ohne Zweifel wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden und kann es zu 100% weiterempfehlen!!
