Hotel Riosol

We had an excellent stay , but we did stay in the premium room 4101, which you have to pay extra for but worth every penny the balcony was massive and the view was spectacular ,free safe ,aircon and tv and even very large beach towels .I just wish those who pay extra for the premium room should get Islands of the stars premium pool on the roof free instead of been charged €25 a day my only gripe

The service was very bad.

Just got back from a week here and overall it was good. The rooms were large and well equipped and clean and the beds were very comfy. There was no air con but a large fan in the bedroom when we got there. Only one of the lifts were working so you were waiting a while for it and it was really hot and sweaty during the day. Our room was near the bottom on the hotel and even with getting the lift to the floor, there was still a good amount of stairs you had to walk down to get to our room. However we did have a very large balcony that got the sun most of the day which softened the blow a bit as the balconies nearer reception were very small. We had 2 sunbeds, an umbrella and a table with 2 chairs and still had loads of room. The pool was heated which was a pleasant surprise, although it wasn't very big. It was fine when we went to get a sun bed but can imagine it will be a struggle in the summer months. You are a 10 minute walk away from a supermarket and bars and restaurants and a taxi down to the main town centre was around 5 euros. Would recommend but prepare to get your steps in!

Myself and my partners 13 year old daughter just got back from a week staying at this hotel. We bagged an absolute bargain price for a week all inclusive however, I have to admit after reading some of the reviews I was a bit anxious. I don’t usually write reviews but this one is warranted! This hotel is absolutely fantastic for the price! Like with all things, you get what you pay for. The pools are both lovely and clean, rooms are basic but clean and provide everything you need. There was a couple wee maintenance things needing done in the room but nothing that was really an issue for us. The cleaners came regularly providing us extra towels etc as and when needed. We never had any issues with the lift (it is a bit slow but you’re on holiday.. what’s the rush!) I appreciate this would not be an ideal location if you had mobility issues but otherwise if you can manage some steps here and there, the views are AMAZING! 🤩 All the staff were lovely, went above and beyond to be helpful, from reception to the bar and restaurant team and the guy who does the evening entertainment is lovely! We felt very at home! Reception helped us with a fan, fixed the wonky umbrella on our balcony when we asked… nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and day menu were both fantastic, the evening buffet was also okay, I would maybe suggest more basic options for kids and fussy eaters. We used the VIP pool one day which was lovely! A suggestion for this would be that instead of paying €25 per person, including two cocktails, it might be worthwhile to charge less and not include the cocktails as we would probably have paid to do this more than one day if it was a little less expensive. Overall, I would say a brilliant stay for the price - don’t let the negative reviews put you off booking :)
