"I booked a honeymoon suite and got a regular room upon arrival. I went to address the issue showing them proof of what I paid for and they didnt seem to care nor help us with that issue. The room I got was very outdated showing some signs of wear. Paint to cover the cracked walls and mold. My room had more view to the buffet and pool than it did the ocean.. the only good thing here is the bellman services. They're all great. The other staff seemed to rush us out the buffet we paid for all inclusive but this place was not worth it. Definitely not coming back nor recommend this not even to an enemy. Thanks to Trip.com and their fast customer service they reimbursed me a fair amount for me to just suck it up and hang in there till check out. I will never book this place again. Trip.com was very helpful."

"Facilities: Conveniently located next to the beach, but the beach is rough Environment: The environment is OK Service: The service is a bit delayed. After missing the room cleaning time in the morning, I had to notify them twice in the afternoon before they came to clean. The daily coffee was not replenished in time and was only given after calling. The software does not meet the standards of this level of hotel"

"VERY, VERY difficult to find this hotel. It’s at the top of a SUPER steep hill. No signage. I had to wave down a police car to help me find the address - even they went the wrong direction at first but eventually they figured out where I needed to go. Getting large/heavy luggage up the steep hill was a major struggle for me and I’m in good shape/fit. There is nothing nice about the location of this hotel - sad neighborhood and felt run down, poorly taken care of. Not near tourist spots, no restaurants nearby, difficult to get Ubers here. The fact that they didn’t even bother to post basic signage for guests says everything you need to know. Do NOT stay here - you’ll regret it 110%."

"The hotel's location is very convenient to everything; I only had one problem at checkout. The receptionist said the face towel was missing, which I hadn't used or taken, and she insisted I had signed a receipt stating it was there. I didn't count the towels; they just told me to sign a ticket confirming there were towels, the A/C remotes, and the TV. She was very rude, insisting on the towel. I asked her if she wanted to check my bags, why she needed a used towel, and then, reluctantly, she told me I could leave."

"The location is near a supermarket, so it's convenient for shopping. Close to Malecon and bus stop. The breakfast buffet was delicious with all you can eat coffee, orange juice, Mexican food, pancakes, fruit, and bread. There was also a refrigerator on the first floor where you could store food and drinks. The only improvements were that the Wifi was unstable and the toilet door could not be closed."

"We loved the resort. I went with my best friend to The Hacienda. The staff was more than attentive, especially Carlos at the pool. He deserves a raise! As did Monica and Hugo, who let us stay on the premises until 3 p.m. Very clean. The buffet was good. The food is 8/10 due to a lack of variety, but the food was delicious. We will be back soon! We recommend the swim-out rooms!"
