Hotel Museo El Greco Puerto Varas

Very beatiful museum-like hotel, decorations are unique and fantastic, every floor is different. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff, location is convenient for everything. Highly recommended.

BONITO. MUY CENTRAL

Well located hotel. More like an ‘Inn’ like feel with lots of old items on display as a museum. Rooms were quite small two people and as we faced the main road, there were no net curtains hence no privacy from the road or restaurant across the road. Hotel staff not that friendly. Breakfast adequate. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is an old German house, the owners keep a nice vintage decoration, local sculptures, is a very friendly and beauty place to stay in Puerto Varas. This was our second time in this beautiful hotel. The breakfast are great, in the Chilean South tradition.

The staff is very courteous and helpful. This is probably one of the most charming hotels we have stayed in. The breakfast was good and is only two blocks from the lake and downtown area.

Staff was very nice and room was clean. It is a good location, close to the center and for those who intend to dine out at restaurants. Very unique building. We found that the room was very small for my wife and I and our luggage and there are no mini-fridge in the room to put your beverages or to refrigerate the food items we bought in the markets, etc. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy at night because our room was close to a terrace where people stayed up late.

Got to stay here for 5 nights during our stay in Puerto Varas. The very kind and attentive staff really made us feel at home. The vintage artifacts and memorabilia decorating the lobby and hallways gives the feeling of being in a museum. If you're looking for a place that provides a sense of the history and culture of this region then, the El Greco is the place for you. Will definitely come back next time we're in the Lake Region.
