Captain Emo City Apartments

We stayed here the night before our early flight out next morning. They organized a taxi for us, that we paid extra for, but the help was worth every cent. I would have like to stay longer….

Perfect location with amazing harbour views from the room. Essential items to allow for a self catering stay. Close to good shops for essential food items and also not too far from a good meal out. local bus services available to explore Pula and the other little villages close by.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights, arriving at 1 PM and parking across the street to move in and have lunch before returning the rental car to the Pula Airport. The owner had messaged the building’s entry code last evening through Booking, adding that the apt. door was open. We climbed the stairs to the 3rd floor. Apt #6 had a tiled living room with a couch, easy chair and well outfitted kitchen. The table focused on the large window view of the huge port, especially at night for the multi-lighted cranes. The wood floored bedroom had a comfortable queen, a closet, a small TV (very limited channels with 2 dramas in English) and a nice bathroom with a larger shower. This renovated apartment is positioned near the top of the 1st C Arena, provides a mesmerizing harbor view, has good secure WIFI and is quiet at night. The nice owner lives here, quickly responded to our requests and scheduled his dedicated taxi driver for our needs. Overall with only 200 m down to a Studentec Market and 500 m to the bus station, it was a good choice for visiting this historic city.

A truly exceptional place to stay! Perfect location with Pula Arena at the end of the street. Super-friendly staff and extremely clean and comfortable apartments. Beautiful little pool and secluded terrace with plenty of outdoor seating. 10/10 for everything! I can’t recommend more highly

Appartment is close, on walking distance, to the centre of the city. Clean and very nice decorated rooms. Mother and daughter who take care of the housing are very kind. There is a poole , it's small , not heated, but good enough to enjoy when you come home.

We chose Captain Emo for its proximity to the train and ferry terminals and Old Town. Which worked although it is up a hill and map programs didn’t know road construction axed the preferred route and didn’t lnowabout the longer route around the coliseum with a ramp rather than stairs. Great communication with owner and staff, very good kitchen, sunset view of the harbor, and reasonable cafes nearby. My wife and I walked everywhere, the only gotcha being the closest full-sized (for Croatia) market was a bit of a hike.
