The visit here was so relaxing. It was quiet and just being on the water was refreshing. Felix is a wonderful host. He kindly took us around the area, pointing out places and discussing history and culture with us. We learned a lot. He also showed us an amazing collection of reed birds and gave us a really informative lesson in nature.

Wir waren zwei Tage bei Felix in der Lodge. Die Bewertungen, die wir vorher gelesen hatten, waren mehr als überschwänglich, aber offensichtlich sollten wir uns in unserem Entschluss zu Felix zu fahren, nicht enttäuschen lassen. Felix ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Er bemüht sich, seinen Gästen, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Er erklärte uns den Aufbau, der Floating Island und Zeigte uns die komplette community. Kaum zu glauben, dass auf den Floating Islands Schulen, Kindergärten und selbst für den Notfall ein Arzt zur Verfügung steht. Die Zimmer beziehungsweise kleinen Bungalows Boden alles, was man für einen solchen Aufenthalt benötigt. Gegen die nächtliche Kälte, im Juni waren es -5° hat er uns hervorragende Wärmflaschen für unsere Betten bereitgestellt. Sollten wir nochmals in der Gegend sein, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Felix übernachten.

Sadly only stayed one night but this place was the find of the trip. Beautiful rooms on floating islands in Uros Village with amazing balconies to enjoy a world class sunset. Felix and his family were incredible hosts, meeting us at the bus station and taking care of every detail until we left the area, as well as providing heaps of information about the history of the area and Uros people. Free kayaks are a real bonus to explore the islands and delicious home cooking made it an unforgettable experience. Also offers tours to explore more of the lake. Will 100% be back if return to Lake Titicaca.
