Bryn Noddfa

Stay for one night whilst on a tour of the Welsh coast. Found the staff friendly and welcoming. Spotlessly clean room. A little dated but everything worked as well as being comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. All freshly cooked to perfection. Altogether a pleasant experience.

Lovely stay here, perfect location and perfect hosts! The hotel was Immaculately clean and a big comfy bed. There was a warm welcome and easy check in. We slept well and it felt like a home from home. We had a delicious full Welsh breakfast! Will definitely be staying here again.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly ! We had a farewell gathering to my 105 year old mother after her funeral. The food and care that Huw and John gave us was exemplary. In the evening they catered for 30 with a wonderful dinner and afterwards we were able to use their piano and television for a video I had filmed of my mother’s life. It felt that we were in a lovely home, having all our needs met by such attentive hosts. Our guests stayed in their beautiful bedrooms and all said the breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful place to hold any gathering, or just to stay on the stunning Llyn Peninsula. Our many thanks to them for turning a sad occasion into an unexpected joyful farewell!

The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful - there is a real community feel where staff are genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay and are happy to chat. For instance, we have an old Labrador who was tired after our car journey and then some great walks along the coastal path - staff took a real interest in him and he was given a free sausage each morning of our stay. A personal touch which sent us off for the day with a smile. The rooms are very clean with good facilities and the beds were really comfortable. The area is quiet and we slept very well. There was a great deal of choice for breakfast (two of us are vegan, one isn’t) and we were all well catered for with hot food, cereals, toast, hot drinks, juices etc. The cooked breakfasts were tailored perfectly to our preferences with a personal and friendly feel to the service. We didn’t try the food in the evenings as we had reservations elsewhere but the menu looked good. The hotel is also in a very good location. It is a very short journey to the Nefyn golf club and there are some good bars and restaurants nearby. The town of Pwllheli is a less than 15 minute drive. I can’t stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay. We would 100% love to stay again. This is definitely the best dog (and people) friendly hotel we’ve ever been to.

A fantastic little hotel located in a beautiful part of the country. We received a warm welcome and the team were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, cosy and clean. There were good amenities in the room - tea/coffee facilities, toiletries etc. The en-suite bathroom was also clean and well equipped. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there were cold options available in the restaurant also (cereal & yoghurts). Location is great - walking distance to Porth Dinllaen and the Ty Coch, and a short driving distance to other local towns such as Nefyn and Pwllheli. We had a great stay and I'd highly recommend this hotel, it has a lovely small business feel to it and it is clear that the rooms have recently been updated.

Highly recommend Bryn Noddfa if you're staying in the area - whether for a game of golf at Nefyn GC (as I was) or you're here for a holiday / cliff-walking. The main reception area is lovely and spacious and my room was perfect. The welcome and attention I got from Kirsty was 1st class. The breakfast selection was great - certainly enough to suit all requirements.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in this lovely homely hotel . Staff all delightful . Food lovely Huw is a great cook . Rooms warm and well equipped . Plenty of parking . Hotel is withinwalking distance of the village . Great breakfast and fantastic wine list

A last minute spur of the moment booking was accommodated swiftly by Huw with excellent communication. Situated in a great location to explore the whole of the Llyn Peninsula I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The family room was warm cosy clean and welcoming. My son particularly enjoyed the pool/snooker table and the bar stocked a fantastic choice of beers from a local brewery. The full welsh breakfast was one of the tastiest I've had anywhere which set us up perfectly to explore the beautiful area which surrounds Bryn Noddfa. We will defiantly be back in the spring/summer. Thank you Huw and Jon for a fantastic stay!
