Hotels in Pyeongchang-gun

"The hotel is beautiful. There are nice restaurants within the hotel compound so you do not need to go anywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing (slop view). Amenities sufficient, room spacious. We took 2 of these rooms since we were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). The beds are super single and 2 ppl sleeping on a bed is do-able or there is loads of space for an additional bed. We didn't have bfast but a lot of restaurants and a CU within the hotel compound. A word of advice, if you are coming from Seoul, stop at JINBU STATION and not Pyeongchang station. We made a mistake of going to Pyeongchang station which is far away and the cab will cost krw 60,000 per way. Jinbu station is just 5 minutes away."

"I've stayed here before during winter, and the room conditions are great. Even with the heating at max, the room only reached about 23 degrees Celsius. The living room felt a bit chilly, but it actually made the air less dry, which was nice. You can order simple meals or snacks from the kiosk in the room, and delivery is quick. They also have a shuttle service to Phoenix Park, which is a big plus. I plan to visit again."

"The location of the hotel was fantastic as it’s just next to the ski slopes. The hotel breakfast was good and the variety for the Korean dishes changes daily. There are a number of restaurants and convenience stores that are 5 mins away. The rooms are spacious and was comfortable to stay. The rooms may look dated but it’s very well maintained. The hotel staff were also able to converse in good English and checking in was easy. Would recommend this hotel for ski trips at alpensia."

"Super clean, super convenient. Lovely staff. The room was spacious. The free shuttle bus from the bus station and to the ski slopes was perfect. The restaurants and coffee shop are really cool. The arcade room is cool. I will definitely come back."

"Living in the Blue Tower Sky Suite was a great experience! We enjoyed a 4-day, 3-night stay with no delays during check-out. The suite is within a 5-minute walk to the ski house and about a 10-minute walk to the central plaza, where we could shop at the convenience store (open until midnight) and visit the game store to play with the kids. Our kids really loved both the day and night activities. However, driving in the snow required extra caution since the rental car had four-season tires but no chains. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable trip!"

"Love the location. Its kind of a maze but cute~ Staying at the hotel gives you 30% off at sauna (20000–＞14000), fitness room, lift ticket and rentals~ The room was so nice. Kitchen was good, no sauce or cooking condiments. The bedding was thinner than imagined so a little hard to get used to at the start but it was good since the floor was warm. Sometimes too warm 😅"

"Kensington Pyeongchang is one of my favorite resorts. When it gets hot in summer, the area at the foot of Odaesan Mountain is simply unbeatable. I especially loved dipping my feet in the stream next to the glamping area – it was so refreshing and blissful. The English garden is also very lovely. However, it's quite inconvenient that all facilities now incur an additional charge since the pandemic. Perhaps facilities like the swimming pool could be complimentary for guests, with the cost simply included in the room rate? The extra charges and time restrictions really make me hesitate to use them. Lastly, the prices at Café Flori are also quite steep for the food quality/portion size."

"At the check-in all are ok, but when we arrive at the door step of our room，realised the door was unlocked,l. Went in and found some chips bit and half consumed bottle unclear I'm the room. What frustratefevwas was we head back ABT 11pm after skiing then realised that they only provided us with 1bath towel , tried calling front desk not one pick , calling house keeping also no one pick up. Only got to kn the next day that hotel front desk is closed at 9pm. And not many can speak English this make it even more challenging."

"I went to see the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, and it was convenient because it was right in front. It felt like a clean officetel. It was convenient to use nearby amenities and shops. The price was reasonable, so I think I'll use it again next time. The bedding was clean, and there was a range and washing machine. It's a good place to travel with family."
