Golden Planet Hotel-Pyeongtaek Godeck

This was a really great hotel for a solo stay. The room was comfortable, and most importantly, the view was fantastic, which made my stay very relaxing. Overall, it's above average and definitely recommendable. However, there were two small downsides: 1. The bedding shed a lot of down feathers. I'm not sure if it's typical for hotel bedding, but despite staying in many hotels, this was the first time I've experienced such a significant amount of fine down feathers shedding. After sleeping, there was a noticeable and not insignificant amount of down on the floor. I frequently sneezed and had to air out the room often. The duvet itself was cozy and warm, which I liked, but this issue could definitely be improved. 2. The response from some staff members was a bit disappointing. I'm not referring to all staff. While they weren't unfriendly, some responded to guest requests with very brief answers rather than a more proactive approach, which was a bit of a letdown compared to service at other hotels. Personally, I believe friendly service is a crucial value in the service industry, regardless of the hotel's star rating, which is why it stood out to me. On the other hand, some staff members were very friendly and left a great impression. Overall, it was a satisfying stay, and if the two points above were improved, I would definitely want to visit this hotel again.

I received a confirmation email from Trip.com, but the hotel claimed they had no record of my reservation. What an absurd situation! Parking in the building costs 60,000 won (more expensive than a night's stay for a person). With snow falling, I had to use the public parking outside the building, which cost an additional 10,000 won out of my own pocket. The accommodation fee and parking fee are separate!!!
