The price of Sydney hotels has generally increased. Basic hotels (independent rooms and independent bathrooms) priced below 200 Australian dollars are difficult to find in urban areas and suburbs. This hotel is located in the suburbs, but close to the station, and the overall cost performance is high. The disadvantage is that it is close to a traffic artery and is relatively busy. If a large vehicle passes by, the noise will be loud. But considering the cost-effectiveness, a short stay is still an acceptable option.

Can’t fault the room - spacious, plenty of tea/coffee and milk! Yay! Cold glasses in the fridge, welcome drink to the value of $10, 10% off food in the pub downstairs. Modern room with usb ports beside the bed, iron/ironing board in the room with hairdryer. Air conditioner worked very well. Very comfortable and enjoyable. Very strict on check-in/check-out times as a room card is required for outside door access outside of pub hours. The staff are very short with you if you need access without a key.

Very close to the shopping mall, shopping is very convenient. Next to it is a club where you can eat. The first floor is a little damp, but the air conditioner works well so it won't be affected. Bottled water and coffee are available which is nice. The facilities are a bit old and the lighting in the room is very dim. I hope it can be improved.

Good Points: Very friendly and helpful staff. Shops opposite and near to train station if you need this. Parking onsite although in busy times, you might not be able to get a space. Food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was very good.
Bathroom very nice and the place is very clean.
Negatives: I hated my room. Room 11 is tiny. I'm so glad my husband was not with me. The TV is on the right hand wall instead of on the opposite wall. You have to crank your neck to watch it. I don't recommend Room 11 at all. When I booked, this tiny room was not shown in the photos at all. So I booked, expecting simple things like bedside tables - the room was too small for anything at all. The bed was underneath the 'windows' although these are covered in frosted glass meaning that you have no windows, can't open anything at all.
Would I stay here again? Yes, only if I didn't get such an awful room.
