"Do NOT stay at Hotel Ibaia! I was double charged and despite their promises, I never got my money back. Their card device is ancient and cannot process refunds, and they said they would do a bank transfer—but it’s been two weeks and I still have nothing. To make things worse, they completely ignored all my emails. Their customer service is nonexistent, and dealing with them feels like being scammed. Be extremely careful if you are thinking of booking here. This hotel is unprofessional, unreliable, and I would never recommend it to anyone."

Despite everything, certain points need to be reviewed: refrigerator too small, lack of dishes, uncomfortable sofa, swimming pool without parasol and very outdated deckchairs. The best would be a heated swimming pool."

"Stayed in this beautiful property for four nights off season. Very easy to find and to visit the basque country from. Bed was cosy and check-in and out very easy. Staff at reception was super helpful and pleasant. We used the kitchen quite a lot to cook our own dinners. Supermarkets 10 mins up the road. There is the option to order bread/croissants for the following morning to collect at reception but there is no bar/cafe on site. The swimming pool was closed as it was too cold."

Large, bright, and welcoming rooms, and a rooftop highlight: a restaurant, open-air lounge, and swimming pool with a magnificent view. Attentive staff. Luggage service and valet parking are provided for the underground garage! Great location: everything within walking distance. We would have loved to extend our stay, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. After our first trip to the beautiful Bay of Biscay, Biarritz surpassed even San Sebastian. "Immaculately clean hotel with a really powerful shower, great for washing your hair! The bed was big and comfortable. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. There is a secure carpark next to the hotel, which costs an additional €10. The car park is very easily accessible for any size of vehicle. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of town, where you’ll find riverfront bars and restaurants, and plenty of shops. A lovely place to stay if you’re visiting Bayonne."
