Our stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing. I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean. What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony. Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.

The hotel room is spacious, comfortable and bright, the air conditioning is very powerful, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient, and you can park for free, which is convenient and fast. In addition, the check-in at the front desk is fast, the service is attentive and considerate, and the room has a view of golf and lake , the scenery is attractive. Mayland is a lovely resort. Their staff are very kind and helpful. 雷欣(Suet Yan) was particularly helpful. We couldn’t sort our app to get a car and she helped us. The changing rooms for the resort pool needs a refresh. Even just changing some of the curtains and better lighting will make the place look better. Lots of hot springs to pick from. Nice indoor pool. Need to swim with a swim cap though. Outdoor pool in the photos is actually not accessible by guest. Chinese restaurant was delicious. Buffet was acceptable for 178¥

Then he said that it was originally a gift, what a mess of service, and it was still five stars. The service of the hotel is so troublesome for guests with such small things. Originally, a family of young and old came from Guangzhou to Qingyuan to help your hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday. They were attracted by your so-called five-star brand. First time staying at Qingyuan and choose this hotel. Overall is satisfactory. Only complaint is that my favourite hot tub is small and crowded, locals don’t seem to leave the tub even when they are not using it, and talk too loudly. Sauna and steam rooms temperature has set too high. Due to cold weather we have dinner at the Chinese restaurant for 2 nights, and satisfying on both occasions, food was good, service was good, and reasonable prices. Difficult to call taxi though if you want to move around.

Great hotel, very comfortable stay, but unfortunately staying in. The air conditioner failed to cool the night, but I found out late that I didn't contact the front desk, endured the heat all night, didn't sleep well, and only repaired the air conditioner the next day. The young lady at the front desk of the hotel is not friendly enough and needs training. The hardware facilities of the hotel are complete, because the drinks in the refrigerator in the trial operation are free of charge. It is very convenient to eat and play near the hotel, the Ferris wheel is beautiful, and the price is very cheap! The video games inside are very fun, and children want to have fun to play in the video game city and close 😂 In short, it is a happy trip
