Next day we realised and we're told strongly there's no swimming on the beaches. A bit weird, but, ya know. The area has a long strip of none private beach. Aranya is next door in a sense but very private, needing a ticket or reservation to get in. Don't miss your 24 hour window or you may lose your ticket. There's just other hotels nearby and some picturesque manmade statues and the such, but not a whole lot past that. It is a resort laden beach town. The hotel was great. Breakfast was basic, but overall very satisfied.
