Yuehua International Hotel

The location is excellent, right in the city center. Qinzhou Night Market is just across the street, so if you like BBQ, you should definitely check it out. The only downside is that the hotel lobby is currently undergoing renovations and is quite dusty, but the front desk staff were very friendly.

I'm baffled by all the positive reviews. The booking stated it included a buffet breakfast, but upon check-in, they only provided two packs of instant noodles. The receptionist was rude, and the 2-3 person rooms only had two bottles of water; asking for an extra bottle cost 3 yuan. When I asked how to prepare the instant noodles, they told me to use tap water – utterly ridiculous! The room reeked of smoke, the air conditioner hadn't been cleaned in a long time and emitted a strange odor, and the bathroom smelled unbearably foul. They call themselves an international hotel, but they're just bluffing. The soundproofing at night was terrible; the two gaps at the door were big enough for someone to squeeze through. Honest review: absolutely awful!

The hotel smelled awful; the sheets smelled like they hadn't been changed at all, reeking of sweat! And the pillow was from a burly man picking his toes—I'm speechless… Can't you please improve the hygiene a little?

It's very spacious, a truly king-size bed, probably 3 meters wide. The bathroom and bed were clean and soft, and the TV was good too. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I spent about four days traveling in Guangxi, and this hotel was the only one I had a bad experience with. First, the soundproofing was terrible, both indoors and outdoors… Second, there were no slippers, only sandals, and I didn't even want to wear them. Third, in our recent stays, there was only one power outlet by the bed in the standard room, although there was a multi-outlet in the box. However, charging was very slow. Fourth, the toilet in the bathroom seemed a bit unclean. The toilet seat was slightly crooked, possibly because the toilet itself was old. Finally, the staff's attitude was extremely poor. Did they think we booked a cheap hotel? We stayed one night and were leaving at 8:00 AM the next day. When we left, the receptionist was still busy with other things and said we could leave. It was disrespectful; this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The room is big enough and the breakfast is good. The hotel has its own parking lot which is very convenient. Maybe it is due to the decoration design, the corridor is not ventilated and smells, and the facilities are a bit old, but everything else is OK!

The air conditioner wasn't cooling, so the waiter brought a fan in the middle of the night. But the air conditioner vents were incredibly dirty, and it looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. How could anyone stay in such a hygienic environment? I reported this to the hotel, and they promised to fix it the next day. I had no choice but to stay in this room.
