Boao Holliyard Seaview Hotel

The hotel environment is really great, and the room was clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean just by opening the balcony door. Sarah at the front desk was lovely and very welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be staying here again.

Last year, I unexpectedly stayed here during the May Day holiday and absolutely loved it, so I came back again this year. The breakfast is also very good. The only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to get to the laundry room from Building B.

Upon check-in, the front desk even gave us tickets for a fun activity, a 'golden egg smashing' game. There are two swimming pools available for both adults and children. The room facilities are well-appointed, and most importantly, it has a balcony with a sea view. The balcony has two armchairs and a small table, facing the sea, where you can hear the sound of the waves and see tourists on the beach in the distance. The breakfast buffet deserves praise; children eat for free, and there's a good variety of dishes.

The hotel has a great view, directly facing the sea. The soundproofing in the room is good; it's basically quiet once the doors and windows are closed. The staff are also very enthusiastic. The noodles for breakfast were delicious and had a strong local flavor.

The room was spacious, and it wasn't crowded during the Qingming Festival, so we got an upgrade to a high-floor sea-view room. The view from building A was decent, though a bit obstructed by the building in front. I reckon you could see the sunrise on a clear day. On the downside, there was a small bug on the floor, and the TV remote wasn't working. We had to call staff to fix both issues, which was a bit inconvenient. The desk wasn't wiped clean either; my child wanted to do some homework on it, but it was covered in dust. On the positive side, the price was reasonable, the staff were friendly and efficient in resolving issues, and their attitude was great. There's an outdoor pool, and the location is convenient. You can easily get to the main attractions by renting a small electric scooter. The food options nearby aren't great. We ended up eating糟粕粉饭 (zāopòfěn fàn) at the hotel restaurant, but the shrimp and shellfish weren't fresh.

This was the first hotel we stayed at with my parents during our self-driving trip in Hainan. It's not far from the Boao Forum for Asia Permanent Site. The facilities are good, and the beach is just a 3-4 minute walk downstairs. Red Rock Beach is a 2-3 minute drive away, and it's a great spot for photos. After visiting Red Rock Beach, you can continue on to the South China Sea Museum.

The room was quite spacious, with a bit of a vintage feel. The service was decent, and breakfast was average. The location is good, not far from the sea.

This hotel is quite comfortable. It has a large, airy balcony that feels just like home, providing great ventilation. There's no thick glass obstructing the view, so you can clearly see the sea. I'm quite satisfied with it. Plus, there's a restaurant downstairs, which is really convenient when you don't feel like going out at night; you can just grab some seafood noodles or dumplings there. Parking is also very easy. The room itself is spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs. The balcony even has a small coffee table and two cozy recliners.

The room was decent, and we had a balcony with a sea view, though it was a bit far from the beach. We went to the beach at night, and it seemed quite clean. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the taste was a little lacking. Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's internal environment was quite nice, but we were in a hurry and didn't get to explore it. The ambiance gets a 5-star rating.
