Newly opened and family run, this boutique hotel is located right on the western edge of Malta. For those looking to get out of the big cities and experience the Blue Grotto from land or by boat, this is a great choice. The terraced dining experience allows you to watch the sunset over the sea while enjoying an exquisite taste of Malta and what the Mediterranean has to offer. The service of both the family running Deep Blu and the staff is excellent, they go out of their way to help you and enhance your experience while traveling Malta.

What a treat! Beautiful, warm and friendly family. The hotel and restaurant seem to be run mostly by the son who is 24 and a very talented hotelier and restauranteur. Everything is top quality, while at the same time feeling personal and intimate.

Possibly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The welcome was attentive and the staff treat us in the same wonderfully accommodating way throughout our stay. The cleanliness and quality of each little additional touch added to the luxury of the experience. The views from the room were stunning. The whole place was peace filled. We enjoyed the comfort throughout. If you’re planning a trip to Malta, make this your first priority when looking for accommodation. Huge love for this family run place of perfection.

Stayed here for 7 nights in the side sea view suite. I could not find a bad thing to say about this family run hotel. The room was excellent and superbly cleaned every day. All the staff were amazingly friendly, and the family that run the hotel were superb, very friendly and went out to their way to make you feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was delicious, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic hotel. Very helpful staff. Decorated with great taste and very neat. Breakfast and restaurant are gems. Room with sea view recommended. Amazing experience. No negative points!

Very nice hotel on the cliffs plunging into the blue grotto, in a small, gently lively village. Very friendly, attentive and caring staff. Excellent bedding and impeccable cleanliness. Perfect breakfast! Restaurant Aalto also recommended. A nice address away from the hectic life of Valletta or St.Julian.

It’s a hidden gem in an iconic location. The hotel is very modern and the terrace with a private hot tub is just perfect. No better place to end the day while watching the sunset. Also the breakfast at the Aalto restaurant cannot be beaten, highly recommend their Eggs Royale

Certainly a place to return to. The hotel is super clean, everything is very new and very well maintained. Management and staff with dedication and exceptional trea**ent. Very detailed and close. The very comfortable bed. Breakfast on demand and very rich. The very quiet place if you want to rest. 20 minutes from St Julian and 7 from the airport. It will undoubtedly be our hotel for the next vacation in Malta.
