Very good 3 Star Hotel with excelent location to the beach. Good Breakfast and Dinner

We love this hotel the food is amazing, all the staff are very friendly. You get well looked after. the hotel is on the beach and it is worth a sea view. Can not fault this hotel we try and go 3 times a year. Always returning to this hotel due to amazing Service.

I loved my solo trip. I felt safe and welcomed by staff. I was well looked after.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the Dom Jose Beach Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge and restaurant areas were spacious and comfortable. It is in a great location on a quiet, pedestrianised promenade, only a few metres from a gorgeous beach. There are also lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the vicinity. There is a small pool area which has good access to the bar. Our room was quite small but had everything we needed - safe, fridge, TV, en suite, air conditioning and an excellent daily housekeeping service. However, we found the mattresses were very uncomfortable which is an issue that needs to be addressed by the hotel management. The food (especially the breakfast) was of a very good standard and there was a varied selection of dishes on offer to suit most tastes. We were half board and were surprised to find that water, tea and coffee were not included with our evening meal. This is most unusual and unacceptable. I have never stayed in a hotel where full board and half board guests have had to pay for water, tea and coffee with their evening meal… Despite a few ******* (nothing is perfect) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Very nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. We were half board and found the food very good although everything on offer wasn't always described especially the salad and sweet courses so was a bit of a guessing game. Pool area very tight with little to no room between beds. Available information on nearby attractions and places to visit would have been helpful. Would defo return though as we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my friend are coming back to this same hotel for 15 years. Even this year coming back for my birthday in July and we are now looking at possibly September. Many of the staff are still there for same long time and it feels like family when you return. Everyone is always polite, friendly, and ever so helpful. We both loved the new refurbishment of areas in the hotel, very nice design, new TV’s in rooms, electric sockets with multiple options. We just love it and we will keep coming back each year. In fact my colleague is now taking his wife for their anniversary there in June after seeing my photos and hearing my experiences.

Second visit, this time we booked a sea view, well worth the extra money. Very clean everywhere, exceptional staff. Breakfast plenty choice, does get busy/noisy. Evening meal time quieter, good options but I think if you stayed for more than 4 days would get bit bored/repetitive. Did'nt use the pool but looked very inviting. Maybe a small selection of information guides/leaflets/maps would be nice touch say in the reception area, asked staff about a few things and they suggested going to the bus depot (just across the road out back hotel). Room was quiet, beds a little firm also no instructions in room for aircon, safe etc. Overall a pleasant relaxing stay.
