We stayed in Ambre for 9 days and would recommend it! Guys from the Coral Bar - Aza, Kanai and Danish there are amazing! Lovely people with a massive passion to work. Best drinks and service which we ever had! Epecially pinacolada :) Hotel is clean and nice. Food is tasty with a big choice for everyone. Breakfast same every day but this is in every hotel so it is completly normal. Wr would give 5 stars and do not understand why is only 4 star hotel.

Hôtel qui manque d'entretien, surtout la piscine qui esr verdâtre et abîmée. Sinon pour le golf à l'île aux cerfs c'est très bien. Buffets corrects. C'est un petit petit quatre étoiles. Notre gros souci : la musique du bar avec des basses très sonores et qui dure jusqu'à 23h. Quand on a envie de dormir tôt, ou même de lire tranquillement dans sa chambre c'est très très gênant. Ce n'est pas nécessaire de mettre aussi fort.

Absolutely loved Ambre Hotel and Mauritius. The service was fantastic especially the team in the main bar, they worked really hard to make sure everyone was served. We stayed in room 280 sea facing which was great and during the stay they were clearing the sea**** that others had mentioned. Food was great in the main restaurant and Italian, the beach restaurant was not great at lunch time, but easy. We would definitely stay again its beautiful wandering up the beach and the views are fantastic. We hired a car for the week so saw most of the island and got a speeding ticket along the way. Driving is safe apart from a few drivers and scenery lovely especially Grand Baie.

OMG, what a fantastic holiday at Ambre Mauritius, 10 days of excellent everything….room,staff,food,beach,drinks,cleanliness,trips totally brilliant. Staff were so friendly and always extremely helpful.We prefer the beach to the pool on all our holidays, and the beach and the service on this holiday was superb, kind and happy smiley delivery of our drinks. Also the way that the beach vendors, all licensed, did not hassle or approach unless you asked, we purchased some good quality Sarongs and T shirts, and booked an amazing boat trip with McCloud Apollon, well worth doing to visit the waterfall, feed the monkeys, Dolphins…… massive bucket list tick,Snorkelling to see the wonderful coral and colourful fish,music and rum, finished with a lovely bbq on the beach with wine, water and a swim. We also booked a half day trip to Port Louis and the Botanical Garden Pamplemousses, amazing trees and plants, including giant tortoises,then once we got to capital we visited the spice market, in old part,then up to the Citadel/ fort with amazing views of port, then a look around modern side with new mall and had food and much needed drinks as 34 degrees! Had a great time with our great guide Gregory from Suntime… very hot but nice to get into the nitty gritty of Mauritian life for a brief hour, but nice also to get back in air con mini bus and get back for a swim at beach. Thoroughly recommend Ambre Mauritius as a perfect holiday destination and will definitely be going back.

The room was fine and the view of the beach and sea dreamy. The food was good with plenty of choice and the staff were marvellous particularly at the TI Bar. Round and about there was nowhere to walk to so if you are looking for bars and restaurants nearby it’s not for you. The all inclusive was great and we were happy to stay hotel based. There are plenty of trips available to get out and about

All the staff were very friendly and helpful always enquiring if you were ok & enjoying your stay. Any issues were resolved promptly by the hotel & staff and to my satisfaction. You could eat at any of the restaurants during the stay as many times as you liked as long as you pre-booked the Italian & beach restaurants in advance for the evening meals.
