Capital Airport Motel

This place ******.We got one towel for the entire time, the staff were rude and scary, and the food was passable at best.The beds had crumbs in them and the outlets barely worked.Most of the food was room temperature, and the hosts swore twice, and we are only kids! He also complained about cleaning the kitchen, and that's literally his job! He said we all ate like wild animals.The rooms were also never cleaned over our stay.

We recently took a group of 30 boys to Canberra for a rugby tour, staying at the Capital Airport motel. The new owners, Ryan and Kathryn, could not have done a better job. They were very accommodating to all of our requirements and were able to alter arrangements to fit in with us a number of times. I would have no hesitation in recommending this motel for a school or sporting group like ours. Thank you.

If you’re staying with a large group in Canberra, this is the hotel to stay at! We were a group of 11 on a Canberra school excursion and this hotel was just exceptional for our needs. Basic, yet comfortable rooms, excellent kid friendly meals, a seperate dining room for teachers and supervisors, great adult meals, movie nights for the kids and access to a pool table and games. Kathryn and Cam have transformed this place into teacher heaven with their friendly staff and superior customer service. I cannot it recommend it more highly. Having been let down by another motel I called the capital motel asking for availability. This is 6-30 on a Sunday evening. No problemo. We got a lovely room. Great bed . The couple who run the motel were extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a menu for the the local curry house. It's very rare to get service like this. Excellent place to stay.
