La Quinta by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown

Staff were friendly. My room was clean. Shower was hot and good pressure. Bed was medium firm and comfortable. What more could you want :)

The view from our room was amazing. However, there was a beam in the room that obstructed the perfect shot, which made the pictures look annoying. The bed was quite dusty, with dust particles visible on the white linens. Additionally, the room was very small, and the online photos were misleading. The toilet was not clean, the room service only replaced the bath towels on the second day and did not perform basic dusting or vacuuming, which is expected in a hotel setting, not an Airbnb. Overall, the view was the only aspect that made our stay enjoyable.

Great location, so close to airport and stores but still tucked away with a nice view of the mountains. Room was very clean and felt new. Kitchen had everything you could need for a weekend stay. Very handy to have parking too!

I was really disappointed to find that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned when I checked in. The shower area had visible stains, and the toilet was extremely dirty — there were even traces of the previous guest’s waste left inside. When I informed the front desk, they said the cleaning staff had already left and the room couldn’t be cleaned until 3pm the next day. No apology, no compensation. This was completely unacceptable and very disappointing.

This is my second time booking this place. Definitely my first choice when coming to Queenstown. It’s close to Queenstown airport in Frankly, 20min drive from the busy and crowded Queenstown. Restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance (1-1.5km, though you wouldn’t want to walk in freezing weather). The rooms overlooking the mountains have superb view. Hotel parking lots are limited.
