The hotel isn't in the very center of Queenstown, so it's a bit of a walk to get to places, which is a slight inconvenience. The room was quite spacious, but the bed felt a bit small. As for the environment, it had a balcony with a pretty good view. Overall, it was clean and comfortable. However, at 3,000 for one night, the value for money was a bit low.

This hotel, nestled by the lake, offers breathtaking lake and snow-capped mountain views – a true feast for the eyes. Its location is excellent; while a bit further from the town center, it's an easy drive, and the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service by appointment. The staff are friendly and professional; the front desk warmly welcomed us, and there's a thoughtful baggage service. Our server was also very kind and enthusiastic. The lake-view room had a spacious balcony that offered fantastic vistas; we even managed to photograph shooting stars during our two-night stay. Breakfast was primarily Western style. We rented a car, and parking at the hotel was free. The room was clean and tidy. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Queenstown.

The guest rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the environment is serene. Highly recommended for family trips, a perfect experience overall!

This was the worst value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in New Zealand. They advertised a 'mountain view room,' but it was actually a 'limited view room' – who expects to pay so much only to have another building block the view? The service was also terrible. Other hotels provide two bottles of milk nightly, but this one only gave one and wouldn't even replenish it. There were hardly any usable cups, and the room was incredibly cramped, feeling more like a partitioned space.

The parking and room layout were a bit confusing, but the overall environment was beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.

Fantastic lake view room! It even came with a speaker, which made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. The bedding was very comfortable too. The mattress might have been a tiny bit too soft for my personal preference, but it didn't detract from the overall aesthetic and experience.

It's been three or four days since I returned home from my trip to New Zealand, and I still can't stop thinking about its beautiful scenery. The hotel's environment and views are absolutely stunning, and the rooms are spacious and grand. The overall experience was incredibly comfortable and I genuinely recommend it. I especially want to praise the young man who checked us in. He was professional and very kind. He patiently guided us when we parked and even proactively helped us with our luggage – so thoughtful and attentive. When he saw that I had bought some R.M. Williams clothing, he sincerely complimented my taste, saying it was a 'good choice,' and shared that he also loves the brand, even having the same belt. It created such a great sense of connection. He had just the right amount of humor and wit, and our chat was really uplifting. When I casually asked if I had tried skydiving or bungee jumping locally, and I said I was too scared to try, he leaned in and quietly whispered, 'Me either,' which instantly made me feel a lot closer and more comfortable. Afterwards, he patiently and thoroughly explained all the room's facilities. His service throughout was caring and warm, making the trip extra healing. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

An excellent hotel, highly recommended. It's the best hotel I've stayed at in New Zealand. Especially if you plan to dine here, the Western food is incredibly delicious – the beef carpaccio, cod, lamb chops, and oysters are all must-tries. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I highly, highly recommend it.

My stay this time was incredibly disappointing and absolutely did not live up to the price and prestige of an executive suite. We booked an executive suite for two days, and as soon as we entered the room, we were utterly disgusted: we found obvious and repulsive hairs on both beds, clearly left by the previous guest. The hygiene was clearly not taken seriously at all. Even the back of the hairdryer was covered in dust and grime, completely untouched by cleaning. We paid executive suite prices but received a level of cleanliness worse than a budget motel. What's even more infuriating is that after we reported the issues, the hotel's service attitude was abysmal – no apologies, no solutions, just perfunctory dismissal throughout. I honestly do not recommend this place, especially for anyone who cares about cleanliness and service. Seriously, avoid it at all costs.

If you absolutely must stay here, choose the lake-view apartment. I didn't pay attention when booking. Firstly, the room was small, and secondly, there's nowhere to eat nearby except the hotel restaurant. I originally wanted to change my plans midway to visit Dunedin. I submitted a request to modify the dates on Trip.com two days before check-in, but I never received a reply. It wasn't until I asked in person on the day of check-in that they said it was possible, but they would charge us over 3,000 for one night. 🙄 I have to give Trip.com a serious bad review here. Initially, they said they would intervene if the hotel didn't respond by the deadline, but later they said that since the hotel's response deadline had passed, the original order would proceed. They didn't even bother with a superficial effort. When submitting the modification request, I noticed that we had pre-booked a lake-view room for three nights for over 10,000, but upgrading to a better room type later on was actually over a thousand cheaper. The only upside is the beautiful scenery. Everything else is a complaint. After eating at the restaurant, we wanted to go back to our room to rest, only to find that staff had entered the room to fix the air conditioning without any request from us. We'd been there for two nights and hadn't noticed any problem with the AC. The cleaning was also very perfunctory. The shower glass had too many gaps, so water always leaked everywhere, and when our wet slippers were thrown away, they weren't replaced. In short, don't expect to be treated like a guest when you come here.

Booked a lakeside villa, and it was absolutely beautiful. Both the bedroom and living room offered stunning views of the blue lake. They provided complimentary wine and delicious chocolates. Fresh milk was available daily upon request, and it was really good. There's a hot tub in the yard. The location is a bit far from the city, but you can book the hotel's shuttle bus to downtown. If the timings don't suit you, Uber is also a convenient option.

I booked this hotel for the lake view. Although it's far from the town center, the hourly shuttle service makes it quite convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes straight to the supermarket. However, crossing the road can be a bit scary as there's no traffic light and cars in New Zealand drive very fast. The pink yogurt cup at breakfast was delicious! The kitchen service was a bit inattentive; on the first day, they couldn't make a fried egg. But the reception and coffee were both great. The room facilities were good, and the bedding was comfortable.

Have stayed here for a few nights during holiday season. Generally good but definitely not worth the price and not matching the standard of a five-star hotel: (1) the shower cubicle door was not tight enough thereby causing some water leakage to the bathroom floor while showering, (2) the ventilation fan in the bathroom is not working and the hotel management sent several staff to fix but in vain, (3) upon check out, the receptionist alleged that we have opened a wine bottle but in fact we didn’t and it’s a mistake, (4) the staff is not very friendly. On the positive side, there is a convenient indoor car park and we can always find free parking in it. The room is clean.

This room type is on the 4th floor. The hotel reception is on either the 8th or 9th floor, and a staff member will escort you to check in. The welcome amenities are quite generous, including milk, apples, and candy. There's also a shuttle bus service to the town center.
