Reavers Lodge

We’ve booked a room with regular double bed, but they assigned us a tunk bed room, luckily they changed for us. It’s a bit of walking uphill from the town.

The Location was convenient (slightly outside town) and room was what I expected.

A lodge on hill level hence a wonderful view on the other side of the mountain and the Queenstown Skyline. The city centre was also near. Friendly staff. Thanks for the car parking made available! The price including breakfast was a wonderful arrangement! We just love it. It let us be more productive with more time available on our side. Thanks.

The carpet in the room is not very clean with some distasting smell. The water flow in the shower room is a bit weak

Suitable for backpackers not for family. Inconvenient for language carriers and not enough parking. Uphill and difficult to walk to.

The location is strategic, just a 10‑minute walk to the town area. But I do not recommended unless you’re on a tight budget. There is no hairdryer in the room, the dirty water doesn’t drain after shower, the worst part is the soundproofing. You can hear your neighbours beside and upstairs walking around, stomping, shutting doors, and chatting in the hallway. We stayed here over NYE and were surrounded by a group of teenagers drinking, shouting and partying until late night, completely ignoring the ‘no parties after 10pm’ rule. The boys were trying to impress the girls, and the tiktok girls were debating who they liked, let’s just say the conversations got way beyond pg :) and also vapes are everywhere 🤦🏻♀️

Simple accommodation, staff was friendly, great view and a 10min walk from the down centre. Good place to put your head down

The rooms, toilets, and kitchen are all very small.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was basic and small but fine for a couple of nights. Very busy with bikers, there’s a noise ban after 10pm but the walls are thin so could still hear a lot even though people weren’t being loud & noisy. Great view from outside our room when the girls next door didn’t have their washing hung out
