We had the best time at ISSIMO Suites Boutique & Spa! The view of the water and the jungle surrounding it was absolutely breathtaking! We saw two scarlet macaw parrots in the tree right in front of us and a few cutest monkeys. It’s like you are in the middle of the jungle with the best food and service ever! The food was phenomenal as well. I have food issues where I can not eat spicy food, not even garlic or onions and the waiter as well as chef gladly accommodated my request for a custom meal. It was so good, I had to ask for a recipe! I believe our waiter’s name was Gustavo and he was so courteous and friendly. We loved our experience at this place and I highly recommend it to other guests of Costa Rica.

The view from our room was spectacular! So beautiful! The service was outstanding! Geiner gave us incredible service. Julia took care of us for breakfast which was outstanding. Eddy, Jorge Luis, Jonathan & Manuel were outstanding Chefs. Ana & Monica gave us incredible massages. Francisco arranged our tours. He and Ivania, Randall & Gustavo gave outstanding service too! It was relaxing, delicious, romantic and beautiful!!

The staff Randell and Julia made our stay so enjoyable. Watching the wild life was very special from our balcony and from the pool. The pool is really wonderful… great food too!!! Totally enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!!!!

Property was very good but not excellent. Water shut off for some hours and internet was out. The server at the restaurant was really good

Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, the pool was wonderful and large for a hotel pool. Breakfast was terrific and a great way to start the day. Ivanya, Francisco and all the reception staff were super helpful setting up tours. The tour groups they selected were great. Everything was explained in detail to us. There is a complimentary golf cart shuttle to town and close by beaches. The restaurant food was wonderful and savory. The ceviche was so good. We ordered it every day. Heyner was our waiter for most of our stay. He was excellent. The wildlife we saw just from our balcony rivaled what we say in the National Parks. Scarlet McCaws, Tucans, cappuccino monkeys. We didn’t see a single mosquito our entire stay! We had been reading about mosquitoes, sand flies and no-seeums, especially at the beach. We encountered none. We weren’t even using repellent by the end of the trip. A great little adult only boutique hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved this hotel!! The room was very spacious! The view was incredible! The pool area was beautiful and serene, and the food and drinks were excellent (but a little pricey). Breakfast and our two dinners were outstanding! And the staff was attentive and super friendly!! We were very entertained by the capuchins who frequented the pool area and our balcony, and we were able to watch toucans and squirrel monkeys play in the trees. I wish we could’ve stayed longer than two nights!
