They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.

We just cameback from our week-long staay at the Parador Resort. It gave us an up-front connection to Costa Rica's natural species and flora, more-so than the nearby Natural Park. We saw iguanas, 3 kinds of monkeys, maccaws,and toucans right outside our balcony room. The hotel service was outstanding and the entire property is clean and gorgeous!!

I absolutely loved this stay. The amenities were fantastic, service was great, and the resort grounds were lovely. The only con was that the room was dated and the “jungle view” was just a chain link fence with jungle behind it.

El Parador es un hotel maravilloso. Las instalaciones, sea habitaciones, áreas sociales o piscinas et al son estupendas; amplias, confortables, bien equipadas, hermosas. Las vistas espectaculares, los lindos jardines y el denso bosque muy atractivos. Todo limpio y con una decoración tipo museo fabulosa. La comida es abundante y sabrosa. El servicio es muy amable y eficiente. He recorrido mas de cien países o estados de los Estados Unidos, visitando cientos de buenos hoteles y éste es de lo mejor entre lo mejor. Fue mi tercera estadía y me encantaría volver. Lo recomiendo con muchísimo entusiasmo.

We had THE best time on our family trip to Costa Rica staying at the Parador (3 nights)!! This place has the most stunning views of the ocean, animals ALL OVER the property, a fun pool experience with lots of kiddos for our little one to play with, a really yummy breakfast (which is included), and THE best staff! Randall was so fun to talk with every morning at breakfast...loved his warmth and smile...he really took care of us! Also I think it's important to say this...WE SAW MORE WILDLIFE ON THE PARADOR PROPERTY THAN ANYWHERE WE VISITED ON OUR 12-DAY TRIP TO COSTA RICA! It was so fun to spot all the Spider Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, frogs, butterflies, agoutis...the list goes on and on!

El Parador Nature Resort & Spa, Thank you for a world class experience. Few times have I had the pleasure of dealing with such incredibly professional, friendly staff with such amazing attention to detail. Every night there was an adventure as well as a culinary delight. Beautiful place. The pool and restaurant have great views of the Pacific and the rooms and location are great. Is is beyond me why they do not have elevators to the guest rooms. We were on the 3rd floor and getting up and down constantly was tiresome, especially after hiking most of the days we were there. Outside of that, great place!

Stayed here for 2 comfortable nights. We had hoped to go to the Manuel Antonio National Park, but both of the days we were in the area were fully booked.
Warmly greeted by Reception staff and taken to our room on a golf cart. Luckily our cases were taken to our room as we were on the top floor. Our balcony over looked the garden but beware, I only turned my back for a second and we had 2 monkeys just coming through the patio doors!
The pools and surrounding areas were very clean but a regular visit from the barman to the adults only pool would have been appreciated.
Happy hour was enjoyable with live music.
We only ate at the restaurant during our stay. Most of the food was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the “tapas”. It was expensive and mine was tasteless. Much better experience in the main restaurant.
Also enjoyed a very pleasant walk on the hotel trail.
The hotel feels very American.

The mornings were magical. Tons of monkeys (howler, capuchin and squirrel) in the mango trees, agoutis in our back yard, lizards, frogs, and birds. And the views were exceptional. My girls especially loved the pools, game room, and trails.
