If you are looking for a cheaper option to stay at in the area with a view as well, then this is the spot for you! For what we payed to stay there we were blown away by the view, location, and amenities. We wished that we could have stayed longer, but they were only available for one night.

The hostel has a kitchen and a view of the sea, and has a huge place from where you can see incredible sunsets. The rooms have air conditioning and the showers are very good. Manfred at the reception is very friendly. Without a doubt I would return

Genoten van mijn verblijf, leuke sfeer, zowel voor oudere als jongere mensen. Pluspunten: - De hangmatten om lekker in te chillen - Zowel Spaans als Engels aan de receptie - leuke interactie tussen gasten en man van het Hostel -Een hostelkat, aapjes, en nog veel meer -Het uitzicht dat je hebt vanop het terras -Propere kamers, douche en keuken. -Aanraders voor uitstappen in de buurt gekregen, geen moment van verveling.

Etape idéale pour aller au parc Manuel Antonio. Nous avions réservé un dortoir pour les 4 « filles « de notre groupe et un lit pour mon mari dans un dortoir hommes. Endroit génial , le gérant est très sympathique , la situation de l’établissement parfaite , le panorama depuis la terrasse impressionnant sans compter les tarifs défiant toute concurrence !! Certes nous étions les touristes les plus « âgés » mais c’était très chouette !! De plus le gérant nous a conseillé de prendre le bus plutôt que la voiture et c'était très judicieux ; l’arrêt est à 500 mètres de la pension :) Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette pension !

JC is a legend and really helped us out with all our trips and excursions. The view is amazing and many happy hours were spent in the hammocks. We even saw some red toucans from the terrace. The national park is unbelievable. Rooms pretty comfortable!

not the cleanest, not the friendliest staff, kitchens often a mess, bedroom doors constantly left open by other guests, constant theft of food items, good hot water in shower, average beds, great views, you can see macaws and toucan's from balcony, dangerous road walk to town, several minutes walk to anything

Enjoyed my stay. The facilities here are mediocre. I stayed in the 4 bed premium dorm. I was satisfied with the 4 bed dorm, it had AC, extra blanket, comfy mattress, enough room for luggage, personal locker. Bathrooms are meh, not gross but not amazing. The best thing about this place is the vibe. People here were so friendly and welcoming, felt like a true backpacker's hostel. Most people stay here 2 days because that's all you need in Manuel Antonio. Juan was an awesome host, super friendly, he hung out with us and played games. It was pizza night every night, free delivery to the hostel. Beautiful sunsets here. Met some awesome people here. Probably the best bang for your buck in Manuel Antonio.
