Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March 2024. Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express seem to be 2 hotels in one with a gym but no pool. We figured the difference is that Staybridge Suites have a small kitchenette in the room which was very useful for us. Our room included a full-size fridge with freezer, cook top, dishwasher, sink, basic dishes and cutlery, coffee machine. Daily hot breakfast buffet was included which is a bonus. The selection was somewhat small but we always found something to eat. This hotel is just outside of Boston but it’s still easy to access downtown Boston. In my opinion, the hotel is well situated as there’s a grocery store down the street, some restaurants, Target, and a pharmacy all within walking distance. The transit station is conveniently a short walk across the street. We bought a 7 day transit pass and took the subway everywhere during our trip, which was cost-effective and less stressful than driving. According to my research, parking in Boston can be hard to find and very costly. I found the subway system easy enough to figure out and if you enter the destination in your phone maps, it should tell you exactly which subway line to take. The only cons I can think of for this hotel: Limited parking as the lot is quite small for the size of the hotel. Parking fee was $15 USD per night. Not located directly in Boston but if you don’t mind the commute, it’s a great option. I recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if I ever return to the Boston area.
