Quality Inn & Suites Quincy - Downtown

Great hot breakfast, different every day. The staff were personable, and always cleaning lobby.

In town for a two-day business trip. Found the staff to be pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The morning coffee was great. Would have enjoyed it during the day but not available. The bed was very comfortable, but I should have asked for flatter pillows. Enjoyed using the exercise equipment in the morning.

Would have given a four but there is some sort of renovation going on. Our floor smelled like paint and the fitness room is needs upkeep. Staff courteous especially the woman who tends the breakfast area. There are few choices in Quincy and this is usually a good choice.

Loved the helpful staff and how quiet the rooms are. The breakfast was the best i've ever experienced at a hotel. The cable was not sufficient and their was no channel guide.

Good for the value, but not the cleanest. Lots of grease spots on headboards, hairs on linens, and dirt in floors. Beds were clean and everything looked nice in common areas. Cheapest stay for the quality, though.

We had reservations for 3 rooms for two nights each made in advance . We were there for a wedding. Two of the rooms were Handicap accessible rooms. The guests in those rooms are in their 80s and have balance issues. The rooms were marked handicap accessible but didn't even have grab bars in the shower. The third room was mine. We had hot water in the sink but not in the shower. We were going to a wedding and had to get ready so had to wash up in the sink . When I told the front desk manager about these problems she was rude and didn't really care. She said did you let the water run for a while. I said over 10 minutes, does it take longer ? She said she would have maintenance look at it. Next morning same problem . We washed up and checked out. The same rude front desk manager said maintenance checked out the problem and said it worked fine. I told her that was not true. We asked her to come to the room and we would show her. She rudly said no. The rooms haven't been updated in many years. It use to be a Hampton Inn years ago and we stayed there then . The beds were not very comfortable and the TV was little and old. The breakfast service was good. Our entire group travel often and agreed this was probably one of the worst hotels we have stayed In. We would not recommend staying here. The rude front desk manager made the problems even worse. There are certainly better choices in Quincy IL. The name Quality should be removed from this hotel.

We stayed for several days. One day, we put a "do not disturb" sign on our door handle and Quality Inn staff still came into our room. Not happy at all about this.

The room was clean as were the common areas. I have stayed here in the past, so I can walk to The Patio Restaurant to eat. A perfect combination. I will stay here whenever I return to Quincy.
