Baymont by Wyndham Iron Mountain

It was a nice hotel. I was told that they recently renovated and the room and the bathroom were stylish. I like the hardwood floors, just my personal preference. It was quiet so I got a good night sleep. The front desk woman was very nice and professional. She answered my questions about where to go for the local eats. The breakfast offered a variety that I can eat something hot or cold.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed with a smile. The check-in was quick and the staff were friendly and always willing to go the extra mile throughout my stay. Nice lobby, big warm indoor pool. The location was perfect for my needs.I was impressed by recent upgrades and clean room. Rested good to take care my business next day. The breakfast buffet has various selection, including eggs, sausage, fresh fruits, juices, and yogurt etc. I would come back again when I am hear in the town. I would highly recommend to stay in this hotel. I got value for price.

This hotel is currently switching to a new name and is undergoing renovation. When we showed up, they were gutting rooms, the pool/hot tub were drained. It took 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to talk to us. We were told they they would honor our reservation. The place had a spooky abandoned atmosphere to it (we were the only car in the parking lot). We opted to not stay. if they were undergoing renovations, they should not have been taking reservations.

Good trip overall. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. I was not one for the hardwood floors in the room. At check-in, I was given a room and when I went in, someone was in there and already occupied the room, which was embarrassing/awkward and I'm glad no one was exposed when I walked into the room. They gave me a new room immediately, and I locked the door whenever I was in the room after that just in case. I did not use the pool or have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. It quality of the room and hotel is definitely reflected in the price. I wouldn't pay over $100 to stay there.

HVAC unit extremely noisy, woke me up every half hour.

The people below menweee smoking in their non smoking room. My room stuck horribly. I finally requested moving or a refind.

I stayed in a King Jacuzzi Suite and it was amazing! I loved it! The room was bigger than my first apartment! Tile was coming up in areas, and hotel a little worn. But what do you expect when you pay such an amazing price! I will be back! Nice staff, nice and quiet. Pretty room.

Here for the first time. Nice clean place, very reasonable priced, close to the airport. If you look for a good place close to the airport, I would recommend to stay here. Drive is about 10 minutes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The photos for this hotel are not accurate. Inside and outside the place is dirty and not kept up. Outside trash is piled up around all of the trash cans, broken chairs and lights. Inside it doesn't look like the lobby has been swept or vacuumed, ever. The room was not clean, there was broken tiles in the bathroom, the light above the sink was missing a bulb and the cover, there was hair in the shower, etc. The only positive was it was quiet, but I think that was because no one else was staying there. The lady at the front desk was also very nice when checking in/out. But, due to the uncleanliness I would not stay here again.
