Great coffee with an amazing view. There's no water in the rooms, which is essential. Also, nothing in the mini-fridge...

Honestly, this was the worst accommodation I've ever had on a business trip. This hotel, supposedly the best in Quito, charged me extra after breakfast, even though I had ordered breakfast upon check-in. I reluctantly paid. I booked two rooms, one paid online and the other at the hotel for $340. All room fees were settled. However, upon check-out, they charged me over $800 and sent me a separate bill. I asked them to explain the $575 charge on the bill, and after a week of explanations, they still couldn't explain it clearly. They finally told me it was a fine for smoking in the hotel. Seriously! They didn't tell us smoking wasn't allowed upon check-in, and the staff only reminded us not to smoke in the room after we were caught. They didn't mention the fine at check-out either, but after a week of questioning, this smoking fine suddenly appeared. Is the hotel so short of money? If they are, they should just say so, don't be so greedy. Everyone, avoid this place; I've never had such a terrible experience. I don't care about getting my money back, I just want to vent my anger! They should close down as soon as possible! Garbage!

Helpful and friendly staff. Great concierge who can arrange any tours. Beautiful modern hotel, excellent gym with most equipment you would need, lovely indoor pool and steam rooms/saunas with drinking water, changing rooms…everything to make it comfortable. All of the restaurants were excellent feom the fancy rooftop dining to the bar to the coffee bar, everything was outstanding. Wonderful rooftop views, awesome buffet breakfast, and allergy options at all (if you are gluten free/lactose free etc) they have it marked on me us or can tell you for the breakfast foods if not obvious. Beautiful rooms, spacious. Excellent service. Great neighborhood.

I had an excellent massage with Irene at the GO Quito Hotel! She used the perfect deep pressure and checked in throughout the session to make sure the pressure was exactly right. What really made the experience stand out were the many different stretches she incorporated into the massage, which left me feeling relaxed, refreshed, and much more flexible. Irene is skilled, attentive, and truly cares about her clients’ comfort. I highly recommend booking a massage with her if you’re staying at the hotel—you won’t be disappointed!

My family and I stayed at this fascinating and modern hotel after a brief stop in Quito (we came for a family celebration). Sadly, on the day we had a chiva (a type of open-air bus) scheduled, I got a terrible sore throat, but Matt (a hotel staff member) quickly came to my aid by serving me boiling ginger, honey, and lemon tea—it really brought me relief! He was very kind, especially since I couldn't go with the rest of my family and friends, and even arranged for me to go to a similar chiva they have in the hotel's backyard—yes, a 1970s-era bus! We'll be back.
