It's not the hotel's fault that the city authorities can't ensure security in the center of the capital. The hotel itself is incredible, very beautiful, very cozy, incredibly stylishly and lovingly decorated. Breakfast is served on the veranda with a beautiful view; it's small but delicious, and the bread is very soft and fresh. What you need to know: the hotel doors are always locked. If you arrive at night, you should let the hotel know so they can wait for you, as this area of ​​the city is not very safe. I checked in at 3 a.m., and I had to ask the taxi driver to stand next to me while I rang the doorbell and until they opened it. If I had been alone, I would have been worried. The room has a large window and a balcony, but it also has to be kept closed for security reasons. I understand that the hotel staff works hard to make you feel safe and comfortable inside, but they can't control the situation outside the hotel.

It's amazing to find such a beautiful hotel in the heart of Quito's historic center. Our four-person room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast table setting was also beautiful. If you're visiting Quito, I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

A very good B&B. It is located in the old town and is close to all the attractions. Some people commented that the noise was loud.
