Hotel San Francisco de Quito

The location of the hotel is first-rate, and you can walk to the main attractions of Quito. The hotel is a colonial-era building, relatively old, so the facilities are average, but it is worth the price. There is a terrace on the rooftop, where you can have a 360-degree view of Quito, but sometimes the wind is a bit strong. In short, if you like the Spanish colonial style, you can choose this place for nostalgia.

The hotel is located on a one-way street in the old city. After entering through an iron gate, there is a different world. There are many green plants in the lobby. Our room is on the third floor, passing through a patio, which should have been built later. There is no elevator, and a handsome guy helped to carry the luggage up. The room is not very big, there is a small hall that can also put two large boxes, and the bathroom is very small. Go out of the room and go up one floor to the rooftop of the hotel, where you can see the scenery of the old city from a high altitude. The breakfast is very simple, just bread, milk and eggs. In the evening, we went out to eat at Chengdu Impression and came back. At around nine o'clock, there were basically no people on the street.

The hotel is absolutely not worth its money, the only plus is the location in the historical center. That's all. The room was stuffy, old furniture and the floor creaked underfoot! While you walk from the door to the bed the floor creaked and the cabinet on which the old tube TV stands wobbled! It's just a nightmare, by the way, right opposite the hotels of the same level of quality and service cost three times less and this is a fair price!
