Rabat, an authentic place with very friendly Maltese people, who we chatted with, and saw in a wedding. A lot of restaurants in Rabat with delicious food and hotel ”Myn” is a central place to visit the island. We did this holiday by car for a week in April 2022, but you can also explore the island by bus. We combined this trip with one day GOZO and had there the St. George festival in Victoria, a welcome surprise. The water was 15 degrees but the temperatur outside was 20 and very sunny almost whole week in April. ”Myn” is a very nice hotel, we (a couple) had a dubble room in Myn, which was clean, had a good bed, and was just in the centre of Rabat and with walking distance of Mdina. This guest house is situated in the heart of Rabat, in very quiet area, very close to restaurants. Tea and water were also in the room upon arrival. Our room had 2 bedrooms, two televisions, 2 Air-conditions and also a balcony. However, there is NO lift to go up to rooms. Owner was very approachable and helpful. Breakfast was offered in nearby restaurant, just round the corner. They also brought take-away dinner right to our door for us since it was raining. Extra towels were available in laundry room. Relaxing stay. Few minutes away from main square and main parking area.

A beautiful 5 bedroom hotel above a patisserie/ coffee shop in a perfect location for Rabat, Mdina and exploring Malta by public transport. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to the hosts Sarah and Mark, who were really charming. If you’re considering staying in Rabat ( which is well worth a visit, not just a day trip as most seem to do) this is the place to be. Great experience, loved it.
