We stayed here as part of a group tour to Morocco, and unfortunately, this hotel was the worst hotel that we stayed at on our trip. It seems that in Morocco there is no standardization as to what a star-rating is in hotels. Knowing that this was a 4-star hotel and having stayed at a lovely 4-star hotel in Casablanca on the previous day, we were looking forward to our stay at Belere and expecting the standards to be consistent. To our dismay, this was not the case. Our room at least was clean enough, although it was small. But our bathroom was filled with mold and didn't feel clean, and we had a weird mold-riddled tub that was difficult to get into and out of. There was no safe in our room at all. The meals there, frankly, were disappointing. Compared to the spread at the previous hotel in Casablanca, there was not a good selection of food, and the food that was served was not tasty at all. Staff in the restaurant appeared indifferent, and at times surly. The common areas adjacent to the restaurant, including the common bathroom areas were horribly dirty. The hygeine was definitely not up to any standard, and it left one wondering whether we would get sick eating the food at this hotel. And in fact, shortly after our stay here, my husband and I did come down with a case of traveller's diarrhea which only recently cleared up. The few good aspects to this hotel: The location is immediately adjacent to the Royal Palace, so is convenient from a touring perspective. The front desk staff were polite, sweet and helpful. The last positive is that when our tour arrived to the hotel after a long day of travel, we were greeted in the lobby with mint tea and yummy cookies. Unfortunately, all in all, everyone on our tour was thankful that we only had to stay one night in this hotel. We certainly would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel has a parking lot and the location is average. If you are not eating in the hotel, it is not convenient to eat out. There are not many good choices within walking distance. Hotel service attitude is pretty good

On a recent business trip to Rabat, as I always do when traveling to Morocco, I booked rooms in a Riad, located in the old medina. On arrival, we were greeted with a nice Moroccan tea, by the manager, Hicham. My room was beautifully decorated in traditional mosaic tiles, had a private bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds ever. Though I would have preferred a bathtub, my bathroom had a shower. Be careful if walking into the bathroom at night, as there is a sharp corner on the shower stall that you can easily step on and cut your foot. The riad is located close enough to the outer edge of the medina so you don't have to walk far from the parking lot, but easily within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rooftop terrace is wonderful for breakfast or afternoon tea, with expansive views over the city and river below. We booked dinner with the hotel, mainly due to many places being closed because of Covid-19. I'm very happy we did, as the food was sublime. Jamai, the chef is an expert at Moroccan cuisine. In fact, we catered our flight home from the riad, and my Boss said it's the best Moroccan food he's ever had. I'd tend to agree. If you find yourself traveling to Rabat, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Riad Dar El Kabira Salam. Note that they're changing their name to Dar Kika, so make sure you watch for them.
A stay at Hôtel des Oudaias places you in the heart of Rabat, steps from Bab Oudaia and Oudaia Gate. This hotel is 0.1 mi (0.2 km) from Rue des Consuls and 0.3 mi (0.4 km) from Galérie d'Art Nouiga.

From the moment we set foot in this beautiful hotel It was an unforgettable experience . The friendliest and helpful staff imaginable, a fantástic breakfast in sumptious surroundings. Great location literally over the road from the Kasbah at the heart of the Medina. Beach nearby and the tranquility of the Andalucían Gardens a couple of minutes away. After travelling around the beautiful country of Morocco this was the best hotel we stayed in the best city. If you want a mixture of what Morocco has to offer come to Rabat /Sale . From the bustle of both Medinas to the peaceful escape of the Botanical Gardens its all there. I enjoyed my stay at the Oudais so much i went back for another stay during my time down the coast. So sad to leave but i know i will go back to stay in a hotel that is 5 star in all but name. A huge Shukran to all the staff.

We stayed at the Fairmont hotel for 4 nights. The staff were amazing couldn't help us enough. Rooms were a lovely size everything was just made very easy from the phone call we received to make sure we were still going to Jaafar and all his effort to help us book a car and help guide us around the lovely city of Rabat and Yves with his help at breakfast. The hotel was pristine and we felt very safe and secure.

GGuest UserThey are really friendly, their appartement are spacious, modern and always clean. Bed and room are warm are carefully decorated. Great for business and family. Nice and complete kitchen area. Area is nicely quiet. Strongly recommended.
YYUIt is a very good family hotel, the boss should be French, and the French and British people are mostly. The overall design mixes Moroccan and French styles and is very good. Although the location is in the old town, it is not far from the small square outside the spice market. Get off at the small square and cross the alleys of the spice market. You can walk in about 5 minutes. Facilities, services, and sanitation are very good. European guests are well dressed, so if you dress properly, you will be more respected, it is best not to wear jackets and sports pants.
A very convenient Riad in Rabat downtown. Staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms are very clean, spacious and with comfy beds! The breakfast was very tasty!! A nice place to stay with family for a short stay at a very affordable price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
GGuest UserThis was our first Riad in Morocco and it was our favorite! The Riad is beautiful, the staff were very friendly, and our room was a relaxing escape after our tours during the hot July days. The room had its own router, so WiFi service was excellent and the room also had A/C which was needed in July. Being in the medina, it was surprisingly quiet, but yet still close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are wanting to stay in a Riad in Rabat. It is near the edge of the medina, so you have easy access inside and outside the medina.
GGuest UserLoved our stay at this calming space in Rabat. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but the room was comfortable, staff was very friendly, and the dar was easy to access. Stayed in the Camel room - perfect for two of us. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again!
AAnonymous UserSuper super good! The reception desk, and the restaurant's little friends are super good. I always go to the bar to have hot water instant noodles. Hahaha, they are particularly interested in my instant noodles. I ordered Loup and sent me to the room to eat, delicious! Let the front desk help us book the taxi in advance, go downstairs at 5 am, and the staff is on duty at the front desk, really thank you! The room is also super clean, much better than I thought, love this sofa, I don't want to go home hahaha
MMarianrugThe service was good but there are no air conditioners in the rooms. They also gave us fans and that was really nice. The breakfast wasn’t so good also.
I had a prepaid booking for three nights at this hotel with two other travellers. The first day of my reservation, I called and the hotel to inform them that I won’t be coming this day and will arrive the next day for the two remaining nights and that the two other travellers will arrive as planned. They front desk confirmed taking note of my request. Today I arrive at the hotel to do my check in and they can’t find my booking and the hotel is full. The front desk guy confirmed that he had received my call yesterday but forgot to communicate it to the reservation team. After two hours of waiting time they suggested to me a room in their less rated half priced partner hotel. When I refused and asked to book for me an equivalent hotel they refused and refused to provide a refund. I explained that I have travelled 3 hours to be here and have a conference tomorrow at 8:00. They kept wasting time and refusing to come up with an acceptable solution. Three hours later I arrived to another hotel that I had to book and pay even though I have already paid for this night at their hotel. Please don’t go there they treat customers carelessly and with no respect.
JJUNLONGThe hotel is located next to the old railway station in Rabat, which is more convenient. Next to the hotel is the Rabat Court, and it feels safe to be surrounded by armed police everywhere. But the hotel is a bit old, and the attitude of the service staff is average, rather indifferent. The breakfast is terrible, the price is not bad in the capital, suitable for a simple night. Reluctantly
