The hotel is a bit old, the size of the room is acceptable, however no slippers being provided. Anyway the breakfast is good.

Splendido hotel in un piccolo borgo sulle colline toscane. Con mio marito abbiamo soggiornato il week end, siamo stati accolti da personale molto professionale ma allo stesso tempo cordiale che ci ha immediatamente fatto sentire come a casa, Cristina ci ha gentilmente informati sui servizi offerti dall’hotel, SPA e piscina da noi poi utilizzati con prenotazione. Stanza superiore alle aspettative, trattamento con colazione inclusa che ci ha pienamente soddisfatti e nota non da poco personale con caratteristica non scontata: la simpatia, insomma tutto perfetto. Super consigliato

We’ve stayed at San Niccolo many times, and we keep returning, so we can recommend it. I do wish there was an option for coffee before 8:00 am.

The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and centrally located. The external cafe bar was a lovely way to end a long day’s sightseeing. It would have been perfect if it stayed open later than 7.30. Staff were friendly and helpful in particular, Maria Angelina. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The wine was delicious and typically a high standard one would expect in the Chianti area. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Tuscany and the Chianti route.
