We spent three weeks Italy in April, 2024. Too much of it was spent waiting in lines in Florence which is already teeming with Americans. Instead I recommend you spend 5 days in the small villages of Tuscany. Radda was our favorite and the Palazzo Leopoldo Dimura (hotel) was the best. Lovely restaurant and spa, first rate staff and breathtaking views from room 38, the only one with a terrace

Camera spaziosa e pulita, bagno ampio. Il nostro pacchetto comprendeva l’uso della spa per 1 ora e 45 minuti. Per arrivare alla spa bisogna uscire dal palazzo e percorrere un piccolo tratto a piedi. Spa ben organizzata anche se gli spogliatoi risultano essere un po’ piccoli. Ottima colazione , personale gentile .

FANTASTICO!Abbiamo acquistato a palazzo Leopoldo il pacchetto di capodanno ed è andata oltre ogni aspettativa. Struttura bellissima, camera pulita e spaziosa con un letto enorme. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno subito accolti con gentilezza e tanta professionalità. Grande Veronica e lo staff della SPA che nonostante la mole di lavoro di questi giorni, ci accoglievano sempre con un sorriso e una simpatia spontanea e vera. Il cenone di capodanno FAVOLOSO, abbondante e di qualità. Un Grazie ai camerieri tutti, alla cuoca, alla simpaticissima Zaru…. Abbiamo avuto anche il piacere e l’Onore di conoscere e scambiare due parole con il proprietario del Palazzo, persona semplice ma di grande spessore. TORNEREMO SICURAMENTE…GRAZIE GRAZIE GRAZIE!!!!! The hotel it’s a great value centrally located. Their spa is not included and you have to pay a discounted rate for guests to enjoy the sauna etc. ( I think it should be included )
A small ( but pricey ) misunderstanding happened where they provided a card where you can taste wines from an automatic machine. The attendant said: “here is your card with $150 of credit to enjoy our wines”
At check out we were charged for the wine we had. And they told us that it was not a credit but just a card to consume and to keep track of what you drink.
Other than that a great option while staying in Tuscany.

Solo all'ultimo momento ci hanno detto che la piscina interna in albergo non era agibile e che dovevamo andare alla SPA - peccato che era in un altro palazzo, bisognava uscire fuori. Personale della SPA molto gentile e disponibile. la stanza era grande e pulita ma... il televisore non funzionava. molto brava la signorina della reception che ha trovato la soluzione con altro apparecchio. Il ristorante buono ma anche in questo caso bisognava uscire fuori. praticamente era tutto un viaggiare con il cappotto!! Forse anche a causa del maltempo non sono proprio stati giorni di relax.

La camera era spaziosa e accogliente, bagno con doccia enorme. Abbiamo goduto della piscina interna riscaldata solo per noi (prenotabile a turni di 45min.). La sera abbiamo cenato al ristorante dell'hotel, cibo ottimo e servizio celere.

Palazzo storico molto bello situato nel centro di Radda, incantevole borgo del Chianti. Pulizia della camera buona, colazione ottima Personale delle camere e della colazione gentile e accogliente. Unica nota stonata la reception, poco empatica e fredda.
