The room was OK. The rooms in hotels in the UK are not big. The suitcases can barely be opened. There is an old elevator that can only accommodate one person with luggage. The breakfast is good and freshly made. The restaurant staff is very enthusiastic. If you pass by for one or two nights, it is a relatively economical and comfortable hotel.

The restaurant area is very well set out with tables well spaced out. The service here was also very good. Breakfast was tasty with an excellent choice of dishes. The hotel itself was tired. It is an old building so it’s difficult to make it too modern. It has been painted but really needs a good face lift. It wasn’t the cleanest in the room. Towels and bedding were clean but the coffee machine had a thick layer of dust on it. The windows are sash windows so expect them to rattle if it’s breezy. I needed to stuff them out with tissue to stop them. There is an events hall here too which unfortunately had events 2 out of our 3 night stay. The music noise is horrendous and had we known this we probably wouldn’t have stayed here. The staff we had dealings with were all very nice and helpful. Thought it was quite expensive for what it was.

Nice hotel but traditional decor, a little old fashioned. Room was very small but was only staying 1 night so was OK. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good.

So noisy , food delivery at 4.45am on Tuesday & don’t even try to be quiet . Doors to bedrooms banging up until midnight . The lift is like getting into a coffin !, couldn’t even fit my bags in with me , very old and slow . Bedrooms basic with paper in sash windows to prevent wind banging when windy . Food ok basic and reasonably priced , staff polite , bill for food was incorrect and had to raise with manager . Breakfast nice but small portions. Good choice of drinks. Close to shops and Morrisons just on corner approx 200 yds. Parking on site

Called in for dinner for our daughter’s birthday . Ok place to eat with friendly staff . Daughter and hubby had a steak which they enjoyed and I had belly pork …this I found @ tad disappointing very soft and not crispy on the outside … drinks were overpriced £4.50 for a bottle of still water ! . On the whole we enjoyed but probably wouldn’t return .

To start with, the staff at the Broadway ere absolutely amazing . So friendly and helpful and very professional, the staff really do make or break a hotel and these are a credit. The room was very nice and comfortable, very clean. Shower /bath spotless another tick for the staff. Check in and out , straight forward. Car park to the side of the hotel, which is free, another bonus. A very good stay which would encourage us to stay again. One peculiarity was the location of the USB charging points, these were more or less floor level and located away from the desk and beds. At least they were in our room, do not know if this is the same in each room. Still worthy of five stars.

The best moussaka I have ever had! I have been a vegetarian for many years, my lunchtime Aubergine and lentil moussaka has to be the best I have ever tasted. Well done Chef! I have also eaten the haddock which was equally delicious. I always get a friendly welcome here and it is one of the best places to eat alone....because you don't feel alone, it is clean, light and spacious.

Nice small hotel with bar & restaurant. Room are okay. Though single bed was literally 2.5-3 ft wide, but served the purpose. All in all okay.
