This hotel is a former palace so the room is decorated in baroque style. The breakfast room is beautiful with a very good breakfast and service. That’s all for the positives Firstly , it’s not located at the older , historic part of town. It’s about 30 min walk down the hill and multiple stairs and then 30 min walk back up the stairs and up the hill. I booked the suite since we were traveling with 2 kids and got a large room with 2 uncomfortable foldable beds for the kids. When asked for a beach towel, was told that the charge was 5 euros per person ( charge , not a deposit!!). I would advise to stay elsewhere in beautiful Ragusa.

Simply perfect. Located in a historyc building in the center of Ragusa. Excellent staff, great manager Mr.Ignazio Ottaviani. The breakfast is served in somptuous historic dining rooms. The best place to stay during our long journey in Sicily...

Dimora storica del XVII secolo, arredata con stile nel rispetto della tradizione...staff cortese, professionale, prodigo di consigli e pronto a risolvere un piccolo inconveniente relativo alla prenotazione. Camera Deluxe n. 206 spaziosa, elegante, con affaccio sulla cattedrale, prodotti da bagno di qualità, graditi la sistemazione della camera prima della cena e il cioccolatino lasciato in omaggio ogni sera. Colazione in salone di rappresentanza con cannoli preparati all'istante e ricotta fresca. Terrazza con vista sulla cattedrale dove fare aperitivo. Servizi gratuiti: sigari Consiglio di curare di più la colazione con prodotti/ pietanze locali. Colazione buona ma da una struttura di tale livello mi sarei aspettato un quid in più...non in termini quantitativi ma qualitativi..prodotti a km 0 che esaltino i sapori della Sicilia. Le torte (sbrisolona) non propriamente siciliane e qualità discreta

A fantastic hotel. Ticked all the boxes. Stayed 2 nights, great staff, lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, good towels, clean bathrooms, excellent prices, lovely breakfasts, close to centre, parking OK. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will stay again without issue.

WOW... Relais Antica is the sort of property you take pictures of BEFORE you unpack your suitcase! We have stayed here 3 separate times and twice with a group we were responsible for so feel well qualified to review this hotel. The rooms are uniquely decorated with rich Italian fabrics and color each presenting windows with a different "slice" of Ragusa. It is centrally located to facilitate easy access to memorable restaurants and historic locations in this very old city of many layers. I highly appreciated their gracious and every helpful staff ( so wishing I had written down each individual name) from the front desk, room service and breakfast personnel. Each and every individual was proud of their city and anxious to assist us in any way. Thank you Relais Antica Badia for impressing our clients with your commitment, knowledge and enthusiasm. We would not hesitate to return.

A seriously good hotel. Great location. Impeccable service. Rooms are individual and spacious. Room 304 has its own balcony and is well appointed. Overlooks the cathederal and a short walk to the old city. Breakfast is good but best of all in a wonderful space

This little palace is a treat to stay in for its unique decor in each of its palatial rooms. There’s a rooftop patio with nice views of Ragusa where we enjoyed wine that we had brought with us. The location is on a hill close to restaurants. A breakfast buffet ended our stay in high style.

Hotel located in a historic building in the city center. The structure is very elegant and refined. The room is decidedly small, made narrower by a vaulted ceiling which further reduces its volume. Truly noteworthy breakfast with very fresh and top quality products. All extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcomed. To confirm this, they delivered a small cake with a candle to my room on the occasion of my birthday which fell on that very day. A little attention to the customer which I appreciated with extreme pleasure.
