Not a bad hostel. It has changed hands and the staff were just getting everything off the ground. It has potential to be a lot better

I liked that the owner was so friendly!
Parking was available right in front of the room, so it was convenient to use.
It's close to the main street, so I had a nice stay💗

Nice accommodation handy to shops etc. Unit was tidy and well equipped. The pool was a let down. Even though it had a quick clean in the morning, it remained dirty with a slimy oil coating floating on top. Running the pool filter during the day would definitely help keep the pool clean.
Also no grab rails anywhere to aid getting in and out.

Very basic rooms. Cable TV good. A short walk to Rainbow Beach and business and cafe area.

Clean, spacious room with a comfy double bed and a tv. Plenty of wardrobe space and the room was equipped with a microwave, kettle, small fridge and coffee, tea and sugar. Air conditioning is a massive bonus! The balcony was great with a little table and two chairs, perfect to sit out and watch the sunset. Bathroom supplied towels and small soaps and shampoo and conditioner. The pool had a number of sun beds available and was great to relax.
