The Dekel Guesthouse was an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Israel. I'm a graduate student who was in Ramat Gan, Israel for many months. The Dekel house is an easy 30-minute walk to Bar Ilan University. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance where you'll easily find anything you may need. The owners are very friendly, professional people. The room was extremely clean with a beautiful view of the city. I would recommend this place to anyone especially students because the Wi-Fi is included with rent, and it is safe and comfortable place. This is also a great choice for vacation travelers because of the location. If I return to Israel this is the place I would stay. It was great and I loved it!

We were here for 3 months for an internship on Bar-Ilan Uni. The area of guesthouse is calm, clean and safe. The bus station to the center and to university was really close (5 min). In close area is supermarket and also supermarket that is open during Shabbat. We had 1 room, that was nice for 2 students not big, not small, but without private space. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the water was drinkable like from shop. We had sink and a small fridge, but without kitchen. The kitchen space was shared on the roof where was really big terrace. There is only one electric plate. It is available for simple cooking, not for baking 😁. Rina and her husband were super kind and helpful to us, they showed us neighborhood after arrival and they really solved every small issue what we had, also they offered us a ride from guesthouse to airport for really symbolic price with a delicious cake 🍰 . In the backyard of the guesthouse Rina has really beautiful garden, with fishes (one is pet friendly) and chill place. Overall we enjoyed the time here and if we will have another journey to Israel, we know where to look for an accommodation (long or short term).

Nice comfortable housing in Ramat Gan, close to the bus, so it is not a problem to get to the center of Tel-Aviv, very nice owners who will help with everything. If you are a student, it is not far from the university, about 15 minutes on foot, so you can easily get to the university on your own

The place is great for the money. It’s clean, which for Israel is not always the case. You have everything you need in the room. The roof with a little kitchen is fantastic. The hosts are nice and welcoming. Laundry is 4 min away. Bus stops are 3 min away. There is a fruit shop just around the corner and a small shopping mall about 10 min walk.

I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the city, yet is looking for a quiet, and countryfied atmosphere. The hostess is very kind and accommodating, and will make you feel right at home. She also has a green thumb, and would love to teach you a thing or two about gardening. Additionally there is an abundance of organic herbs that you can feel free to pick from.

Be very careful of this place. Rina is an extremely shrewed business woman. Just one above a scam artist. She will lie to you on the phone about the room size and quality until you arrive and you're stuck there Then she will have all your money out your pocket. There is NO place to cook properly, even though she says there is. There no cutlery no plates no cooking materials NOTHING. You will starve here. There is no close places to eat. The local shop is extautionate. There's no iron, there's nothing, but horrendous single beds and a fridge at 200 shekels a night for the smallest room going up to 3-400 shekels for the larger rooms. You are littrelly guaranteed to get ripped off here. Infact I promise you you will get ripped off by this lady. She's good, she will empty your wallet before you've even blinked

I had a great experience. The hosts were a super couple with no flaws, only the best to offer... it was really worth every penny. I stayed in a big room with a beautiful balcony and view. The room faces sunrise and absorbed a lot of light, I had a great time with that. They have a unique pricing plan for guests which includes daily weekly and monthly, which is really convenient for people who don't want to be bound to contracts. The guests are free to roam around the compound which includes extremely gorgeous gardens with accessible spices and teas. And two fish ponds with huge fish, some you can pet, which was really awesome.. I didn't even think that was possible.. The bathroom was perfect and recently renovated. A great shower and toilet. The water was also surprisingly perfect. Clear and tastes like bottled water right from the sink. Cooking and laundry utilities were available and super helpful. And last but not least there was a multi-layer rooftop accessible area with a chill out space and beautiful views of Israel, along with an exercise space with a few weights. All in all, it was just perfect. Thank you so much Dekel Guesthouse, will definitely be seeing you again soon 💙
