Linden Gap Guesthouse

Excellent service, enjoyed it. Thapelo is very welcoming; and also available for any queries. The place is located at the quiet and perfect place, close to rosebank and sandton. It is very safe as well.

Thanks Thapelo for a warm and friendly welcome. The area is quiet and safe. The guesthouse is nice and modern but with a homely feeling. The rooms as well as the gardens are well maintained. The amenities are perfect for self catering and of good quality, loved the Nespresso machine. We will definitely be visiting again.

Linden Gap is by far one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. I say this having travelled quite extensively and at times at 5 star hotels around the world. While not an actual 5 star property, the service, accommodation and most particularly the finishings in the unit (Orchard Cottage) were of the highest standard. I was constantly impressed by the thought that went into furnishing the property and making it comfortable. In South Africa back up electricity is critical and the unit had solar backup. (Not all units have this) The staff that assisted me were also amazing. Malibongwe who took my calls and questions prior to the booking was very helpful. Thapelo was also on site during our stay and was very helpful, accommodating of requests and kept in contact to communicate our needs very well. From the moment I arrived till our begrudging departure, I couldn’t help but wish that I could travel with the Linden Gap as my self catering option wherever I next go. It’s going to be hard to enjoy any other self catering unit in future. Well done on immaculately run property, I will definitely return.

Tatyana was a superb host and communicated very well. The flat we had was very well equipped and tasteful decor. Our children enjoyed playing croquet on the immaculate lawn, and the other games in the gamesroom. We had a lovely gas braai with our friends on the undercover patio. Very convenient location to local bussiness and food stores, coffee shops and entertainment. Extremely impressed and will highly recommend this place to anyone.

The apartment had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Apartment and grounds were clean and neat. Covered game/chill area was a nice touch. Kids enjoyed playing in the safe enclosed garden. Close to shops.

We enjoyed the spacious accommodation, friendly service from Malibongwe and all the facilities provided. Linden is a great area to stay but the road on which the unit is situated is very busy and rather noisy. The entrance gate is extremely narrow and if we had come in my husband's vehicle, we would have been unlikely to be able to get in. No room to move around in the driveway.

I spent one night and was greeted at the door by Gordon who ensured I had everything I needed (even running out to buy milk which was missing from my room). The room was spacious, very clean and well decorated. A nice little patio outside, but unfortunately close to neighbours who were a little loud (but only in the early evening). The location is central in Linden and I was able to walk to shops, as well as run 10kms the next morning through the suburb.

Thank you Linden Gap Guesthouse for such a warm and welcoming embrace of our stay. I will visit and refer this accommodation to my network traveling to and fro. Excellent facilities, clean and neat space, with ample room to breathe and stretch on a quick trip to Jozi.
