Over the Moon Guesthouse

We spent 3 nights at Over the Moon Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and cared for. Our double room was luxurious with all the amenities we could wish for and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. I was surprised by the abundant birdlife and the quiet tranquility of this little haven nestled the chaos of Johannesburg. The guesthouse is conveniently situated very close to the Joburg eye hospital and surrounded by the surgeries of top medical professionals. Christine and Nickie showered us with kindness and compassion and made us feel part of their family. We will definitely be back.

Christine is an amazing host and Over the Moon fails to disappoint us. We first stayed there in 2017 and did not hesitate to return. The breakfasts are excellent and the location is ideal with the views. It is safe, clean and very well managed. Will be back again.

Christine is a very lovely and attentive host.She really takes care of her guests. The place is stunning. Everything is very well maintained. The view ist spectacular and the big garden is awesome. The breakfast is freshly made on your request. The room was always prepared accordingly the day time (f. exp.: curtains closed and bed done for the night). We enjoyed it very much.

Christine provides such a warm and friendly magical place to stay in Johannesburg. This was the second time I stayed at Over The Moon, both times were wonderful. She is such an awesome person which is reflected in the place itself but also in her staff. By all means, stay here, you will be Over The Moon with gratitude! What a stunning place, with a wonderful view of Johannesburg. Christine is an excellent hostess and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. My room was beautiful and spacious and I truly enjoyed my stay!! The room was fully equipped with everything I needed and I felt important and spoilt. Thanks Christine!!

Our stay in the „Over the moon guest house“ was exeptional in many ways. A very large room and also balcony everything nicely decorated as the owner Christine is an artist. She had the time to tell us lots about the nice area (Northcliff) and also about Johannesburg as well. Thank you from Robert.

Over the past three years, we have often stayed at "Over the Moon" guest house. The hospitality is outstanding, and Christine always makes us feel right at home. We even have 'our room', which is always spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we need. We especially appreciate the attention to detail, from the cosy decor to the little extras that always make our stay so enjoyable. The location is perfect for us. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing, yet close to everything. Breakfast is delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. We would like to say a huge thank you to Christine and Nick for taking such good care of us and our family during our stay! We went to Johannesburg for medical purposes and Over the Moon was our little happy place to go back to after long days. The house and the view are magnificent and Christine so helpful!
