Our wonderful week's holiday in this beautiful place has just ended. I’ll tell you right away if the “house reef” and snorkeling are very important - this is not the place for you!!! Unfortunately, you won’t see either corals or a variety of fish while snorkeling here. But everything else is beyond praise! The villas are huge! With high ceilings, incredible designer partitions inside the room that resemble sails. Controlling lights and blinds from an iPad. Snow-white towels are made of the finest cotton, perfectly absorbent (which is not always the case). I really liked the pillows. It is important for me that the pillow is low and very soft. Each person is given two dressing gowns: one warmer, terry, the other lighter. Each guest is also provided with a beach bag and beach flip-flops. Cleaned up impeccably! Only in our absence! During the week we never crossed paths with the cleaner; he only came to see us off on our last morning. Some sweets are brought to your room every day. Our butler Gasim, having learned that I loved bananas, brought them to me every morning as early as 7 am while we were sleeping. When my husband had his birthday, Gasim went out of his way to decorate our room. Moreover, in the morning it was an option with balls, and in the evening beautiful lighting was added. Each villa has a kitchenette with a large refrigerator, in which they constantly put something sweet, water with and without gas. The entrance to the kitchen is separate for the staff, so you won’t hear that someone came in and brought you something. Incredibly varied breakfasts: from tuna sashimi and dim sum to cheesecakes and porridges, a huge selection of fruits, fresh juices and smoothies. Every morning, the French pastry chef brings out some additional incredible pastries to each table! The baking here is simply an ambush - it’s incredibly delicious! Just like in Paris! If not better. For lunch in the main restaurant, the menu is amazing in its thickness - there is absolutely everything! Any whim, as they say, will be fulfilled. Well, dinners are a different story! The French haute cuisine restaurant, Le 1947, is impeccable! Japanese tepanyaki is amazing! Even though the cook is not Japanese, everything is brought to perfection! I had spaghetti vongole in an Italian restaurant and felt like I was in the south of Italy, and the homemade sorbet was the “cherry on the cake.” Even the pistachio ice cream is made here on site! I was very surprised by the evening of Maldivian and Indian cuisines: everything in the set menu was prepared in such a way that you will feel the taste of India, but with French chic! By the way, a detail: there is no buffet in the restaurants here. Either a set menu or a la carte. That is, you don’t have to stand with a plate, like in a cafeteria, and wait for your turn. In general, I can safely say that we have never been fed so deliciously anywhere, and we have previously been to One and Only, Four seasons, Soneva Fushi, Velaa, Anantara. By the way, don’t be afraid to gain weight - the hotel has the most luxurious gym! Even body impedance can be done. And an incredible variety of water sports - from a surf wave simulator to a flying water board. The dive center is great! The beautiful Ekaterina answered all our questions regarding diving in the Maldives. Here nearby
