Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

Is a good hotel I ever stay, great facilities and also with helpful people who are working there.

A review of our most recent experience at Conrad Maldives, as well as, a comparison of 5 different accommations at this property. First and foremost, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. You are assigned a personal staff with whom you communicate all your needs using WhatsApp - very convenient. First stay 2020 - 10 nights, 3 accommodations (Deluxe Beach Villa, Sunset OW Villa, Deluxe Overwater Villa). Deluxe beach villa was huge and stunning with a private plunge pool, a short path to the beach with your own beachfront palapa. However, no direct water view from the villa. Sunset OW villa - beautiful. If you simply want an overwater experience, both the sunrise and sunset villas are good options. However, both are on the smaller size and situated quite close together (less privacy) but still comfortable, a beautiful view with a refreshing plunge pool (sunset villa) or whirlpool (sunrise). Jan 2024 - 13 night stay: Standard Beach Villa (3 nights) - least expensive and amazingly beautiful!!! It is really lovely. It is huge, luxurious and very comfortable. Your outdoor space is separated by a wall to adjacent villas, but provides adequate privacy. It is just a short private path to your own beachfront palapas with immediate beach access. There's an outdoor shower and outdoor space in the back. The main difference between this and the deluxe beach villa is the private plunge pool (deluxe) but this accommodation is equally as lovely and beautiful. I was more than pleased with this base accommodation. Grand Water Villa (5 nights) - WOW!!! Out of all 5 accommodations, this was my favorite. It is absolutely jaw-dropping gorgeous. We were assigned one of the end Villas and it is far, but quite and private. There is a great amount of separation from adjacent villas. I ran in the mornings and it's about 1 mile from Vilu restaurant, 1/2 mile from Atoll Market. This villa is absolutely stunning. Super private - good distance from your neighbors. It is huge with 3 separatel rooms [living area, bathroom, bedroom] plus an outdoor deck with lounge chairs, a table and whirlpool (great for an evening of relaxation). Does not have direct sunrise or sunset views - but peripheral views of both and unobstructed view of the horizon. What I loved most about this villa is the excellent floor to ceiling water view from every room. I attempted to stay at this villa for 10 nights but it wasn't available, so only stayed 5 nights at this villa. Deluxe OW villa (5 nights) - This villa has been renovated since our last visit. It used to have a whorlpool, now it has a large plunge pool. Personally, I preferred the whirlpool because you have direct steps to the ocean so a pool is not really needed. Located on Rangali island, it is quite peaceful and serene. The villas are widely situated, allowing for greater privacy. We were on the end (last) villa. Beautiful Resort that was so large I could run around the property for my daily exercise. Because it is large, they offer golf cart pickup service, which is nice. The room was spectacular. We had an overwater bungalow, which comes with a small pool on deck. Easy access to the clear blue water where we could see multiple fish. Housekeeping provided us special treats and decorations on the bed for our anniversary. The food and drinks were pricey, but delicious. Diamond members have access to happy hour so we were happy to take part in that hour. They provided plentiful drinks and appetizers for us. Conrad assisted us in any of our needs to include a boat transfer to our next resort. We also absolutely loved the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant. It is a must! Additionally, there are a variety of restaurants with excellent views and delicious food! We absolutely loved this property and would love to return again!

One of the most memorable experiences for me, i was there as a honeymoon coue, all the staff and facilities are amazing, such a warm welcome everything about this place is such a magical, i really feel like im in heaven, the food was so good the white sand and blue water is just absolute dream place, highly recommend this place, we are so sad to leave but we will come back for sure!

We started off our trip with our butler Fasy telling us he worked at Raffles Maldives (since we are Singapore) before and that Raffles is more luxurious than Conrad… and boy was he right. Location: beautiful white sands and crystal clear blue waters only 30 minutes seaplane ride away, which was maximum the boys could tolerate. Kids club: the kids found a baby cockroach on the first day there. And on the third day there , we found another big dead cockroach in the sand play area, which also had lots of old tables and chairs stacked on one side like a dump … I feel bad giving this review because the staff seem to be trying their best but somehow still comes across as mechanical and just doing their jobs. The boys sure enjoyed their time there but but at the end of it, they didn’t know any of the names of the ladies there and no hugs or emotional bye byes (something which they did at Ritz Carlton Bali kids club) Food: Sunset grill on our first night was not good at all. Prawns and octopus were mushy .Chocolate tart was the worst tart we ever tasted. Kids pizza was really small (please work on the consistency of kids menu across the restaurants, the next day we ordered the pizza at Rangali bar and it was double the size). BUT thankfully vilu and mandhoo redeemed it all and the food at both restaurants were generous in portions and EXCEPTIONAL, especially Vilu which we thoroughly enjoyed every single course. Service: there are some wonderful services like Mr Mohamed (and crew) from the dive center who took great care of our young kids on our sea excursions which tended to be rocky. KUDOS also to the lifeguards (sorry I didn’t get your names). The guard at the swimming pool was very attentive to the boys playing around. In another instance, I was struggling from being seasick/giddiness and walking to a restaurant when a lifeguard passing by noticed and helped me to the restaurant. He then rushed back to the dive center to get me a bottle of water (he got exasperated when the restaurant kept explaining to him water is chargeable and I couldn’t talk in my giddy state to agree to the charges. But to the restaurant credit they did served me a glass later when they saw how ill I was). THANK YOU Mr lifeguard, this is really the care and warmth worthy of a luxury 5 star resort. As for the other excursions, I really would not recommend the glass bottom boat from water sports center though as we didn’t manage to see that many sea life and there was no interesting or educational information shared at all regarding the types of marina life we saw. Quite a waste of money, Lastly, not sure if it’s the Maldivian culture/norm but it was also slightly strange to have staff helping themselves to the breakfast buffet at Atoll market same time as the guests. Oh yes, the waits for the buggy is true. We waited well over 20 minutes twice at Vilu to get back to the main island. Overall: on the last day, the breakfast staff gave us a big plate with words “Sad it’s yo

Dear Conrad family, My expectations were exceeded! I was worried about the bad weather but even with some rain , this place is paradise. Everyone contributed perfectly to assist us during our stay. I'm very pleased with the care taken in regards to my dietary requirements and having special amenities in the villa. First time someone was thoughtful about that! Logistics were so smooth that I felt no time difference or worries at any time. Our personal concierge Fasy was always available and very helpful. My favourite place was the underwater restaurant, the staff, the food and the views. Mandhoo Spa restaurant was better fit to my diet. Just wow, amazing, incredible mesmerizing, Special, luxury, heartwarming, peaceful those are just some of the words to describe this special unique spot of Paradise. You greeted at the airport by the most kindhearted staff, and directed to a private lounge to wait for your flight to the resort, food and service in the lounge are incredible, as you arrive at the resort, you are greeted by the most spectacular island resort, The hotel is separated on two sides by a beautiful bridge where in the evening time you can see massive manta swimming under the bridge, The service and cuisine are spectacular. There is a sense of peace and tranquility in every little spot of this beautiful resort. Would like to thank a few people who truly made our stay memorable, Kozy at Atoll Market Displayed a high level of service and genuine care for his guests and was always happy to showcase the wonderful island cuisine, Yaatte at Rangali bar was so nice to be around and really looked after us in the evenings, what a wonderful person,Jazlaan from Ithaca had wonderful Customer Service and served us an incredible meal, Leo at Mandoo, was wonderful and also had wonderful customer service thank you and to Ali Shameen our wonderful room attendant who made sure our room is always clean and extremely comfortable with everything we needed thank you. Conrad Maldives is one of those places you have to visit at least once in your lifetime because then you will strive to return year after year thank you to the amazing team for an incredible stay!
